I'm looking forward to it. Judging by what the developers said it should take place over several missions. Plus, the underwater mission will provide some great juxtaposition to the more action oriented sections of the game. That is one of the reasons that I loved the Geth Consensus mission.

Me too. A lot of people say the Geth Consensus starts to suck after one or two playthroughs, but I spread my playthroughs out more than a lot of folks here, so I think it's one of those cases where that just won't effect me. It always feels kinda fresh and new when I go back to it.

*Yawn* Someone wake me up when Bioware actually fixes/changes their piece of **** endings. Until then, I won't drop another dime on ME3.

Buying this DLC is the equivalent of dropping a ten dollar bill in a trash can... it's idiotic.

I'm curious to see how well this will sell. Will this get the da2 treatment, where sales were so poor they cancelled DLC production?

Moment of truth for Bioware and the ME franchise.

Well, I personally didn't buy the DA2 DLC because it didn't seem relevant to the story. One was about Hawke's father, and the other was about some new squadmate that didn't look interesting. Leviathan seems to at least provide relevant backstory to the main conflict.

Also, wasn't it a planned expansion that they cancelled and not a $10 DLC per se? I didn't exactly pay attention to DA2 news after Platinuming it.

So this is what he was doing when he should have been keeping an eye on ME3,  Great, hope THAT works out for him. So we never have to trust him to write for a video game again.

This is a bad post and you should feel bad.

I have no sympathy for Weekes, he tries to play on the hopes of those who hate ME3, while trying to promote himself at every turn. Compared to him I find Gamble's Lies more honest.

The hell? No he does not. I've spoken with him several times and he's on my twitter feed as well. In those times I've spoken with him, and in all those tweets I've been around to see him post, not once has he presented himself as anything remotely self-absorbed. He has a self-deprecating style of humor and he's more likely to talk about how badly he screwed up farming on Firebase White than he'll ever be to pat himself on the shoulder at the expense of fan desire.

And please, don't use his tweet response concerning the possibility of more ME2-squadmate stuff for ME3 DLC as an indication of anything. I should know what he meant by that -- that was a response to my inquiry. The man's talked about wanting to see more of a few ME2 squadmates in particular a few times since the game launched; he's legit about that. Just because he can't flip switches and make things happen doesn't mean he isn't genuinely a cool guy.

LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE

Wow and here I never thought I'd get an enjoyable post from you, than you post something that funny. Thanks.

This yukon guy reminds me of kotoreffect3, only with completely opposite opinions. We should get the two of them to have a chat some day; it would be something to see.

It was funny, because his post owned you to such a degree that all you could muster back was sarcasm.

But please, you were next going to provide all the examples of Weekes being self-absorbed and manipulating the emotions of the fanbase to further his solo career.

This was posted by Fo_Fai on the comments section of the Gamespot news article regarding the DLC. It's one of the greatest things I've ever seen posted, anywhere on the internet. I'll just... leave it here...

"Do you like being ripped off with Day 1 DLC
that's already on the disc?  Do you enjoy being lied to about it
afterwards?    Are you a fan of multiplayer slowly swallowing up game
franchises that were once solely SINGLE PLAYER experiences?  Do you
think what EA is doing to the industry is paving the way for a brighter
future for gaming?   Are you totally fine with publishers eyeing you
like a bag of cash?

Oh, and were you happy to experience the wonderful support of the
gaming journalists, who labeled you as "whiny and entitled babies" for
simply wanting an ending that wasn't thematically abominable and full of
plot holes and didn't take five years of a beautifully crafted universe
and shove it in the toilet?

Then by all means....go ahead and buy Leviathan DLC.   Your support will ensure that it continues."

What in the world does this have to do with DLC?

As for all of the other "points," I'm perfectly capable of deciding what to do re: buying DLC without someone preaching to me about the first-world problems great injustices of today's video game industry.

As with all Bioware products from this point forward, will be waiting for fan reviews on the BSN before considering a purchase.

Grandstanding shouldn't change the core question: Will this DLC give you 8 bucks worth of entertainment? If you don't think so, don't buy it. If you do, buy it. That guy sounds like he thinks all DLC is detrimental to consumers when I consider it the opposite (except for Day 1 On Disc DLC).

I find this whole DLC rather limp and pathetic.Yeah I want to replay 3 with such a decidedly down-beat story. It smacks of money grubbing for a title that 99.0% of the players have already completed. Who cares about one friggin' Reaper? They already said it doesn't alter the ending. It still all boils down to Blue, Red and Green choices in the end. Big Deal! Do yourself a favor and save the $10 bucks and buy a burger and fries, in the end it will be more satisfying.

IsaacShep,

I think there is a difference between ME3 and Fallout NV in that while Fallout had many bugs, ME3's perceived problems related to the story and narrative elements.

Bugs are problems that can be fixed.
A story is not "fixed" as easily.
