Or maybe not everyone has the same opinion on ME3.
The neat thing about this thread is that it actively showcases that. Most of us can see it, even!
I mean, just look at the lad or lass above me! Talk about different! And that's OK!

Look at you all pandering over some crappy dlc that you will be complaining about once you finish, not shepdog though.
Because that guy only dislikes stuff if it is obviously bad.
How the hell do you know this?
Outside of ME3's endings, I've been fairly happy with Mass Effect - from Pinnacle Station to Arrival.
If I derived enjoyment form those, you can bet I'll probably have a good time with Leviathan - which sounds like BioWare's most ambitious DLC to date.
I won't be here for when you return and need a shoulder to cry on.
Look into your heart and you will find the answer you seek.

Maybe I just need to read some user reviews after release. Nothing I have seen about sounds that interesting to me. I could very well be 100% wrong and it is as good as LoTSB. But, I am just not seeing anything in it to get me hyped up.
For those of you excited over it ... Is it just because it is new content or is there something cool that I am just missin?
Well for me, I'm interested in learning more about the Reapers origins, and anything that expands on Shepard's story is good enough for me. Just my opinion.

If Weekes has written it, it should be good anyway.

And even if you wind up loathing it, your statement clearly indicates that'd be a fluke. Nothing is perfect, and I doubt that even the most... passionate Mass Effect fans are 100% satisfied with every single line that every single character speaks on every single mission in all three games. These things happen. But people who have generally been very satisfied with the series are probably going to be OK on this one.
Agreed. I don't like the ending at all, or the final mission, but I won't let that ruin the universe for me. In my 32 years, Mass Effect 2 was probably the best gaming experience of my life, and so much of ME3 was a grand, emotional experience.
On the whole, I'd probably rate ME3 a 7, but I still enjoyed the expereince and Leviathan gives me more Mass Effect. I'm ready for it.

Your opinion has proven to be in favor of everything Bioware.
Only clear insults to the fanbase get your eagle eyed attention.

Well said. And it means a thing that you dislike ME3's endgame more than I do and you can still say that.

I PM'ed you my feelings earlier. I'm a Mass Effect fan, not a Bioware fan. I won't be recognizing anymore of your posts that attempt to flame me.

EDIT:
Would like to thank Master Che, he was the one that originally noticed the giant "Slender Man".
I just took the screenshots to make it easier for us to view and discuss in his thread.
This is Master Che's original thread Speculation Time: Leviathan Cave Painting

i am one of those that liked the EC and hated fanatically the original ending.
Also i am one of those that think that good DLC only adds to the game. Tuchanca and Rannoch mssions are the standouts of the game. Suppose that Leviathan is just as good, wouldnt that make ME3 better?
It will add to ME3 but the ending will still be there.
So now when we think of the emotional climax(s) of ME3 we think Tuchanka and Rannoch. After this DLC (assuming it is really REALLY good) people will think Tuchanka, Rannoch, and Leviathan were the high points of the game. Then then ending kinda falls flat a bit.
Of course, it's a shame Earth doesn't have that punch. But for those of us who are OK or even completely fine with it, just not thrilled that it isn't totally rockin', I think there's no big issue here.
I'm OK with it. Not totally hating it, not loving it either. It was all right the first time, but gets boring on subsequent playthroughs. Infact I've noticed the whole game drops its pace after Rannoch.

If it is true that they got Weekes to do this, is it possible that they did that because of all the fan requests for Weekes as lead writer?
Did they get Weekes to take lead on this, or is that just speculation?
If true, I'm even more excited about it. Nothing against the rest of BW at all, it's just that I seem to really enjoy Weekes' content (and he seems like one hell of a nice guy via Twitter).

Possible. Or it could just be due to the overwhelmingly positive reception of the Tuchanka arc. But I believe Dunbrough(sp?) was a lead on that as well.

I get the impression that any added content is going to have some people frothing at the mouth. Not that everyone who wants to play through Leviathan is a rabid fan, but there seems to be a few on the boards.

I'm not sure. I keep seeing it in the comments but nobody is giving a source.MattFini wrote...

I'd love that to be true though. Then I would certainely buy this, likely without looking at reviews or getting a glimpse of it on YouTube.

Someone said they'd asked him, may have been Taboo (not sure though).
