I Wuv! it even more now that I used too. People really put their hearts and souls into this game, and that's why it's so good.

I have other games on my shelf waiting to be installed when I finish playing NWN. They have been waiting for years, with no end in sight.

You know, I've never actually played this game. I should try it some time. I know my friends were hooked.

I've postponed finishing Morrowind and starting Oblivion for this game. I'm even stuck at chapter 2 of the original campaign just because of the amount of modules I have played and will have to play. HELP ME!!

I actually just picked up a new digital copy of NWN, having lost my physical discs a long time ago and will be playing through the OC once again.

Anyone know of any cool mods than alter/enhance the original campaign?

Long time; no see, KT!

My recommendations for the OC are perhaps the Official adds (ie; SoU and HotU), Tony's AI (do not use it myself, but it receives glowing reports), and the Pretty Good Character Creator and Customizer (ie; PGC3). The latter mod will help your build, and has a way to port the PC to and from the mod; like having a home base.

BTW - Rolo Kipp is up and around these parts now, too!

NWN rules - most moddable game ever. I'm sure we'll be playing a decade hence. KUDOS Bioware!

Be well. Game on!

Holy Cow Elhanan! I thought I'd never hear from you again!

It wasn't too long ago that I was mentioning you to my wife while reminissing (and precisely why I was feeling nostalgic for some NWN action)!

It's nice to know you and Rolo are still around. I hope everything is ok with you and yours friend. And thanks for the suggestions I'll check those out! If you happen to be on Steam hit me up some time (same name).

Kinthalis, you ever play any of the custom content? Quite a few campaigns out there better than the originals. For example...

Aielund Saga
Dance with Rogues (explicit sexual content, just as a warning)
Prophet Series

Got five copy of NWN Diamond and a copy of the first original release :) if I'm not an addict... You probably wonder why do I have so much copy of the same game? Because I got lazy friends that don't buy their own, but I love to play LAN with them so I needed at least 5 valid cd keys!

Really? Thought you only needed valid CD keys for online play, and even then just for PWs that check such things at this point with the Master Server down. LAN objects to it?

I know a friend who bought NWN from GOG.com was able to log into a game being hosted, and he hasn't gotten a valid CD key by email yet (have to submit a ticket for it).

you can't have two players log in the same server with the same keys...so yes I needed 5 keys (as we are five to play ;) )

Right cause I had friend over and he died and wanted me to go in as a DM and raise him, but I couldn't. So then I bought a diamond edition, and when the same scenario occurred I was able to go in a raise him. So just some direct experiential evidence.

It's been so long, I've forgotten the OC, so I can play it as if it were the first time. <3

(Wish I could say that for Baldur's Gate.)

It's been so long, that the only "name" I recognize in this thread is ffbj. ...and... I had to create a new account! :P

Oh, and I never even completed the OC or the XPs campaigns. Been thinking about doing that! :)

I recently had some issues with my game, so I had to completely wipe it from my harddrive (saves and all) and start again. I'm playing HotU right now, and I can't wait to redownload all of my favorite mods again! I guess I must love this game if I'm willing to completey rebuild my mod collection instead of playing something else (at least until BG:EE comes out...)! Image IPB
