Game notifies us that 1 year have passed. DLC starts aboard the Normandy, and the protagonist is... Shepard's LI. If Shepard had no LI, then the protagonist is Samantha Traynor,

What? Miss Overpriced mass effect field toothbrush/showers with clothes on person?

I'd rather be Conrad Verner!

I was asked some questions about remaining Cerberus troops as the enemies in such post-ending DLC. I want to answer them here.

I didn't mean that remaining Cerberus troops should be some noticeable force actually. I think it should be a bunch of confused and scared (but still loyal to Cerberus) soldiers and operatives, who are trying to hide somewhere, and try to rebuild the organization. They just shoot anyone none-Cerberus on their way. They are rather some kind of gang, than an army.

Uh. Low EMS Destroy? Earth is glassed. You really have to try to fail to get this one. So... who cares about them? They can replay and get a better score.

And I don't think it's that unrealistic to do this with that many protagonists.

Such DLC will not be hard to make indeed. But it will be quite expensive to make (many voice-overs)... Well, and I don't think it can be a problem, because such DLC will definitely be paid.

I think "IT"ers will always find a way to "prove" that everything after the Beacon hit Shepard in ME1 didn't really happen :)

I think they say it's everything after the Harbinger beam hits us. I'm happy if they go with IT but if not I'll be happy with any more content because I love Mass Effect

Your ideas are great if IT is not true :)

I'd love to do that and be able to look for Shepard, that would be really cool! Image IPB

Although once found i'd like to be Shepard again and enjoy being found by my LI XD

But yeah great idea!

Edit: I'd choose destroy by the way haha, incase that wasn't clear Image IPB

I think Shepard was part indoctrinated, but the sequence with the Illusive Man must be real because of the Extended Cut. It wasn't a hallucination. But I think: If he choose to controll the Reaper, he defeated his indoctrination, because the old Catalyst will be replace of Shepard and the Catalyst was trying to indoctrinate Shepard. With the Destroy Ending, the Catalyst will be destroyed, because he is a Reaper (Harbinger). That's what i think. The Synthetis Ending would be interesting to interpretate in content to the Catalyst.

Absolutely. It would be a paid DLC. I edited my post a few times. Suggestions about Cerberus added. Take a look.

Yes. I think it would be a paid DLC, too and I would pay for it.

You get nothing, and I wouldn´t pay for such a another polishing of endings...
Otherwise they are not hasks but husks... and with synthesis you are also destroying any kind of Cerberus as an enemy because we are now all friends, do you remember Reaperz already controled the TIM and his soldiers were already hearing voices and Control poitnless same as synthesis ...

Refusal allies Cerberus ? WoOt ? Whole Cerberus is past there is none alive and others are midnless husk.. Allied fleets which one ??? I would like to see anyone who survived that oblivion around Earth ... LuLz

This idea simply failed.

Do you have any other idea? Or is it for you to best to let ME 3 how it is?

Not gonna lie, this sounds awesome. But I doubt Bioware will do this. I doubt we'll see what happens after ME3 until somewhere in the middle of next-gen. :(

Playing as Tali & Garrus sounds amazing though!

ME3 is in mess, until they weren´t planning something uterly different since beginning I wouldn´t await much from them after what they released EC for free hurr durr, any kind of Catalyst - polishing DLC can only worse the situation...

Any other idea ? Well, they left many sings of indoctrination in whole game - so I would rather start there, than think about Catalyst´s hurr durr space magic cannon. And for those which saying that IT is simply fanfiction, please look to final hours of Mass Effect 3 and loot to article about Endings and words - Shepard loosing control over movement due to Reaper control, but we wraped that sequence due problems with engine ... [wraped coz technical problems and not an idea]

I like the idea of remaining Cerberus troops got splitted in two parts: the ones who try to save their asses, and the ones who will beg us for help (people, like brother of that Alliance engineer on the Citadel). I think it would be great if we will encounter that brother and his sister-engineer, and will be able to help them somehow. And it would be nice to see additional situations similar to this encounter.

I'd still rather play as Shepard, but I agree. BioWare can keep their craptastic endings, and the fans get more closure than a grade-school powerpoint.

With Mrs Shepard (Tali, Liara, Ashley)?^^ I think to continue the story, it is more logical to play with Shepard's LI because Commander Shepard needs help. The offical ending is good, but nobody knows, what would happen with Shepard. This DLC would continue the after the End of the Galatic War. Remaining Cerberus Troops would be the last opponent.
It think it is just like the Arrival DLC in Mass Effect 2. It continues the story after the ending, but the mission isn't as big as the offical ending.
This DLC would be about Shepard's fate, not about the Galaxy's fate like the ending.

Such DLC should be mostly about Shepard's fate and short-terms consequences of her/his final choice, viewed through Shepard's LI (or a friend if there was no LI) eyes. That's why the DLC would become the best way to say farewell to our Shepards. And that's why I think such DLC should be released as the last one for ME3 :)

I agree with it to be the last DLC. It would be better to get Aria Soldiers (Blue Suns, Eclipse and Blood Pack) at Omega, but now it is to late.

I don't know what Mass Effect 4 should be about, because the enemy: The Reapers are destroyed. Shepard's story must be have done. There are only these possibilities about Shepard:

Control: Make himself like a god, control them ->everybody would be perfect -> not every positive, but Synthetics and Organics stay at their form, how they are and live peaceful together. I think Shepard's LI wouln't be very happy.

Synthesis: Honor death -> Synthetics and Organics combine to a new DNA -> very good for EDI and Joker, if they have romance. Shepard's LI might be proud of Shepard, but very sad.

Destroy: Follow the target, which they have always wanted to follow. Shepard and his LI -> happy ending, but Geth and EDI destroyed.

By the way: I choose the Destroy Ending, because I want to follow the target, that you have from ME 1 - ME 3. And i don't feel with Geth and EDI. Mhhh ok...Geth are destroyed in my version at Rannoch, because i did choices, which didn't allow me to make peace between quarians and geth. The only synthetic i feel with is Legion. But Tali is in my version Shepard's LI.
