Everybody is talking about "canon" ending. What does it mean? "Open" ending?

Post ending DLC wouldn't be bad while a canon ending would be picked.

There is no "canon" ending.

Yet you will find out when Bioware is done with ME3 DLC.

Mhhh but what if the LI is Miranda or Jack?

I think in this case the Normandy Crew will rescue Shepard and Miranda or Jack will be there at the end of the mission.

I see no problem in Miranda or Jack aboard the Normandy. Normandy could take aboard more people than we think before leaving the Sol system.

Ehh, I don't really think it's all that necessary, but it'd be fun somewhat. I also really like the idea of a last stand against impossible odds which would result in our death, kinda like the end of Halo: Reach. That would be pretty badass.

I think sequel is not possible without the Synthesis. Because in case of Control we have invulnerable defender, and in case of Destroy we are out of powerfull enemies...

...But this is just my opinion :)

Control: Shepard goes power-crazy and is, together with the reapers, the new big thread (which would completely devalue the character and everything you did in ME1~3, but I wouldn't put it past Bioware to do this).

Destroy: the reapers are gone, but the galaxy/universe is a big, big place, so the next foe might be lurking just around the corner...

What I want to say is this: all of the endings offer enough possibilities to go from there.

stop giving bioware ideas, there ment to think of solutions themself.

we tried giving them ideas and they totally ignored everything we said.
even in closed betas people gave bioware mega solutions to fix the probmels but they got ignored

As the Control fan, I don't like your Control idea. Besides, it will just turn subsequent story into almost the same ME Trilogy. Fighting the same threat again... Protagonist becoming crazy... I think it's too primitive. So even adding some new "Reapers" in case of Destroy will not be any original...

...I'm sure there is only one way to make new strong story in ME Universe:
Inevitable Synthesis + Dark Energy Plot + ME3 save import feature + 500 years after ME3 events.

Yet players write fan fiction while Bioware writes lore.  Btw how could "changes" implemented when ME3 was already by the demo's release and there was only two missions attached to the demo as well.  Nippickers are gonna nippick.

Some ideas were ignored, some were not... BioWare proved they care about ideas more than about money. That's why they didn't change ME3 endings even under such heavy pressure. And that's why I think they notice all interesting ideas on the forum. So, I'll better take my chances, and keep posting :)

Interesting proposal but still doesn't give the Reunion that many of us want if you chose destroy. Just some stupid dialogue doesn't make for a good reunion scene.

I say make it a expansion pack...include the previous DLC...make it about the return of the Leviathans...6 hours per ending scenario and sell it for 25 Bucks.

I think that would be a fair deal.

Hmm... It would be interesting to see what the Leviathan starships look like. They have to be really huge and beautiful.
