Just disappointed I did not get a Hurricane II, got the Valiant I instead. Oh well.

Valiant has a faster RoF. It is better.

Also the carnifex X. Same rate of fire, more damage, twice the clip size, less than a third the weight.

Valiant is still better. With that said Viper X is probably my 2nd fave sniper. Perfect for the Asari Vanguard.

Why can't weapons have overlap in capability?

Is there not going to be a point where your valiant levels up enough to overtake the viper?

Comparing an X level weapon to a I level weapon isn't really fair, IMO no matter what the rarity is.

Back in the days of weak spots on bosses the valiant at any level was amazing because you could spam out three shots on a primes head in the TC Dmg bonus time with no time wasted on readjustment. Disrup ammo and sniper amp and I think it was six head shots to kill a prime, maybe seven and that was fast with a valiant. Couldn't have been done in near that time with a viper x because of the slightly larger kick.

I agree that on paper however there doesn't look like much between them

Viper is good for mook removal. It's good size clip and decent damage. I like it, 'cept it doesn't do so hot against Phantoms -- it takes more shots to kill a Phantom and landing those shots on the Phantom is quite difficult as it is.

Otherwise, anything else, it's fast enough to keep up with a Valiant, except maybe the reloading time. I still use the Valiant mostly as it is better against Phantoms, and I play U/U so Cerberus is always a possibility.

You rich kids with your fancy high level Valiants... Real (wo-)men bring a Widow or a Paladin if they want to snipe, 'nuff said.

On a side note: I still don't have it.

This guy invented the Chargeless Krogan and stated that Tac Scan was overpowered...

To his credit, no one knew what tac scan did at the time and it was pure speculation.
