It was one of the best parts of Origins.  You had your party (along with a vendor and war assets) in one place and you could talk to them whenever you wanted. I was never a big fan of DA2 where you had to visit people in there homes (and there was no dialouge unless a cutscene was triggered).

If DA3's gonna be open world then the party camp can be similiar to the bonfires in Dark Souls.

DA ]['s style worked for DA ][, though. Hawke was a resident of Kirkwall, he wasn't just roaming around trying to recruit people.

Though I agree, I enjoyed it as well. Can't comment on Dark Souls though because I haven't played it.

I agree. DA2 was ok but even with them having their own homes it didn't "feel" like they had their own lives. It just felt like I had to go to point A to talk to this person then point B to talk to the next. Party camp was much better for that.

Here, here. Make it feel like we are one unit, not a bunch of random people who have rough associations with each other, other than killing people on the weekends and hanging out at the same bar.

I could get all of that in my real life.

I did enjoy the party camp quite a bit more than what was implemented in DA2.

The party camp made sense in DAO. It didn't make sense to do it in DA2. Bioware should do what is sensible for the story in DA3. E.g., people don't live in a tent camp if they're living in a city for long periods of time and have their own employment.

The camp was convenient, and that was a good thing. But I also appreciated DA2's arrangement despite less convenience. In DA3 if our party is moving around the countryside, the camp would be appropriate. Otherwise not.

I agree I loved the camp. It was so cool. But I agree with Olmert if they include the camp it has to make sense. In DAO it did. In DA2 it would've been ridiculous.

A party camp wouldn't work for DA2 because the party spent 7 years (the whole game) in one city. I would hope they do things differently for DA3.

I can go either way. The party camp made sense, but DA2 did a couple of things very right with the party.

1. The individual HQs reflected the setting well (though why the hell didn't Fenris ever clean his ****ing house?!?) and let you focus on the individual relationships.

2. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the cut scenes that you would stumble into of the NPCs talking with each other. Great touch that I want to see more of.

My only request: the ability to equip all party members any time you go into your storage.
