This will be my 1st male shep play through of ME3, (done femshep twice and picked Sam twice, am a sucker for her voice)

Male Shep romanced Ashlet in ME1, and no one in ME2. Just looking for ideas, had planned on catching Ashley again, but am going down the renagde path, so wondered if I could still romance her?

Any advise welcome.

Please no flaming, I will get around to romancing everyone eventually lol.

As long as you dont treat her like a jerk, you can still romance her.

Why would you, though?

I always liked her character in ME1, I will get around to Tali at some point. I did romance Liara in a previous ME1 play, but found her annoying in ME3. I usually play FemShep. but wanted to do an Ashley romance from my ME1 save.

You can as much as you can romance anyone renegade on ME3. You'll have to pick the "nice" options eventually, but that's true for all romances...

Yeah, thats one of those things I don't like about the games. You'd figure Ashley, Liara and Tali would never go for a renegade Shepard, but instead he's played like some sort of sex machine that everyone can't help but feel attracted to him. On the romance front, DA plays much better and in a much more realistic way.

Not played DA or DA2, heard a lot of people slagging DA off on here so never got around to it.

Yeah I would think that Jack or Mairanda would be more suited to Renagade Shep.

You can still romance Ash in ME3 while being renegade. Just fair warning though, you have to pick paragon a few times since there is no longer a neutral option. Just visit her all three times in the hospital and make sure Thane or Kirrahe is alive. But since you didn't "cheat" in ME2, that shouldn't be an issue.

All about the trust factor.

Well, DAII is on the same level of badness as ME3, however you should totally play Origins, it's an amazing game. I mentioned the romance there because if you play too nice there are a couple of LIs that won't warm up to you all that much because of that, same thing if you play too renegade the nice LIs won't like a lot of your attitudes and might even leave the party depending on your attitudes. That way is a lot more realistic.

Romance Tali. You will not regret it.

Or do you have to romance her in ME2 first?

You can romance Ashley while being a Renegade, but taking an overly Renegade approach while speaking to her can and will lock you out of her romance (the same is also true for Kaidan and Liara). I've heard that under certain conditions, it can even lock you out of recruiting her into the squad, though I'm not sure on specifics on that. Just to be on the safe side, it's best to pick Paragon dialogue options while speaking to her, at least while you're on Mars and at the Citadel memorial (and, of course, visit her at the hospital three times, buy her a gift, etc.).

I re-played ME 2 recently and now imported to ME 3 romancing Tali. She is far and away my favorite! Her voice is great and she is just a sweetheart (I know I'm lame). It was totally worth playing ME 2 again. Side affect was I remembered how awesome ME 2 was/is. Wish you could have more people in your party in ME 3
