You can sell it to a Dryden merchant and buy it back in a separate barter session - there is no need to reload the game with these two merchants since their inventories are instantly refreshed once you close the barter session (other merchants require that you reload the area). This method makes "upgrading" the Warden Commander Armor to dragonbone relatively painless.



Many people claim that "Weakens nearby darkspawn," "Increased hostility," and "Messy kills" properties have not been properly implemented but I have not seen any evidence to back this up. So far it is a matter of opinion, but I believe that these properties are intended to have subtle effects even when properly implemented.

Ageless is a great sword, but there are also some pretty good 2Hers in Awakening. I never use them so I don't remember the specifics, however.

Well, I'm pretty sure the  "increased hostility" weapon/armor  property  *is* implemented.

But according to the toolset,  Weakens Nearby Darkspawn and Messy Kills   is NOT.  There's a line in the script comments which literally says "not implemented"

You get the rune slots from upgrading it through a merchant or the chest from wardens keep
