Hello and thanks for taking the time to read my post! :)

For my second play through I am trying a DW rogue after my first play through as a mage. Now, I found out the hard way how bad shapeshifting was, so after I deleted and recreated my mage I find that after I Morrigan joined my party that she has come with a whole bunch of skills in shapeshifting (and I checked my mages game and she has them there too, but I never noticed until now ).

Simply, is there a way for me to re-distribute my party members skills etc from scratch? I know there are respec mods for the "players" character.

Thanks!

The re-spec mod you mentioned does this.

Character Respecialization

This mod adds some Ravens to the world of Dragon Age (Party Camp, Denerim Market District, Redcliffe Village etc.) where you can get an unlimited supply of Respecialization potions. Let one of your party members (or your main character) use one and you can redistribute all your attribute/skill/spell/talent points.

Hmm strange. I thought as much, but when I went to try last night it wouldn't work. The poition lost its "use" function when I was either currently playing a party member, or was trying to use it on a party member from the inventory screen.

I respec'd Morrigan to an AW on my second playthrough (did City Elf Warrior first and thus couldn't unlock Blood Mage, so I'm starting over as a mage) and AW certainly seems more useful. In my entire first playthrough, I never put any points into her Shapeshifting skill and only used it once...I do want to try with some of the shapeshifting mods on a third playthrough, though.

I'd suggest trying one ( or both ! ) of these.

No Follower Autolevel http://social.biowar...m/project/1179/ Your companions don't have their attibutes, skills and talents assigned before you recruit them

Character Respecialization v1.6 http://social.bioware.com/project/469/ They are autolevelled as normal but you can "reset" them and then customise them.

AW Morrigan >>> Shapeshifting Morrigan so much it isn't funny.

My end game party with Respec Mod was sword/shield tank (Ogrhen, later Loghain), 2h Str rogue (PC), AW melee dps with Haste/Miasma/Rock Armor/Frost Weapons buffs up (Morrigan) and healer with 2nd Haste up and Telekenetic Weapons (Wynne, and yes...Haste stacks). It was ridiculous.

try deleting the potion and picking up a new one

it does that sometimes if you use it and then cancel it

You can't use the respec mod on any of the non-permanent members of your party, like Daveth or Ser Jory, atleast I'm pretty sure I remember trying it and it not working. It works on other party members like Morrigan though. Atleast, it does from my download of the mod. It also might not work on Alistair at certain points at Ostagar, I'm not sure why I just have a feeling.

Get the metagame items mod. It´s more comfortable since the ring that respecs you and / or your party is added to your inventory and will not be removed after use.
