idk y but i never liked her, eversince the me2. actually i was quite annoyed with her. every other crew member, once i talked to them, it was easy to warm up to them, even zaeed. idk what it is, really. so, does that does like her in the game, why do you think she's likeable or not?

i didn't bother doing her mission in me3, but then all of a sudden, at the end of the game, i realized her name was at the memorial on the normandy! wth happened? how did she die?

If you didn't do her mission with Jordom Bau, She dies off screen just like anyone else you don't talk too like Thane or Zaeed.

She just dies.

If you did her mission, She would have 'died' (Its completely ambiguious if she died or not) anyways.

Out of curiosity, Why didn't you like her? O_o You're the first person I've met who didn't like her.

Honestly, She's my favorite character in the series. If she was a LI, I would never have looked at Miranda. Her Loyalty Mission is also my favorite in the series as it mixes Dialogue and Combat perfectly.

you liked her? really? see that's why i made this, bec i was wondering if most ppl feel the same about her like i do.

well, for starters, she's a thief. and secondly, she seems selfish to me, which goes hand in hand with the first reason really. and the game doesn't get deep with her. idk, maybe it's just because i can't connect =/

I liked Kasumi before she became a bumbling idiot in ME3, she was one of my tag-team partners along with Jack. But then...

"I will NOT join you for a suicide-mission!"
:? Okayyy ... I didn't say anything about it. But you did already join me for one and came out no worse for wear, and now the stakes are even higher so why would you not?

"I dunn wanna fight, I wanna spend my time plugged into my greybox with Keiiiijiiiii! <33333"
<_< Are you serious? I knew I should've destroyed that POS.

"But I will come back for Jayyyyycuuuuuub!"
 Nothing new, but still.

Maybe you can put your tech expertise to work on the Crucible we're building. Help save us all from extinction without fighting?
"I'M NOT A SCIENTIST!"
:pinched: ... be glad my Shepard autodialogue'd after that and didn't get the 'wheel... or better yet, something flashing on the bottom right side of my screen.

Maybe I'm just misunderstanding you, but...if you *do* her loyalty mission in ME2, and she survives the suicide mission, I think they make it pretty clear that she survives her cameo in ME3 and goes to help on the Crucible.

I was talking about her mission in ME3, sorry.

And, You really should do her Loyalty Mission. They go DEEP with her in quite a few ways. At the end of that mission, I wanted to just hug her.

I mean, Hock killed her BF. Want to know how? He broke open his skull and stole the Nural Implants inside. And then Kasumi found his corpse. Good lord, Most people would be a Broken Bird after that.

I would highly reccomend doing her LM if you want to try and connect better with her.

She's also far from selfish. I haven't even seen hints of it from her. The theivery part, I'm not sure why that's an issue. Zaeed started a Merc Group; Jack has made herself quite the body count, Thane is a master assassin, and Samara is a 1000 year old Justicar who has probably killed thousands in her life.

And you have issues with the theif?

^What he said.

Miranda is a high-on-the-food-chain Cerberus (Terrorist Org.) Operative.
Zaeed Misani founded the Blue Suns which I have not a single doubt that they do horrible things to kidnap victims.
Wrex was a Krogan Mrc.
Thane is a Master Assassin and is payed very well to murder peocode
Samara's entire life is dedicated to killing those who do not adhear to a strict code.
Jack is one messed up woman when you first meet her and no doubt has the body count to lock her up in Purgatory.

And you have issues with her because she's a theif? Wat?

Personally I liked her, she was never one of the most prominent in the story for me but I saw no reason to dislike her. She probably only joined the first suicide mission as payment for helping rescuing keiji i can see why she might not want to sign up for another.

She screams that Shepard was going to rope her into another suicide mission/the war.

Which, is sort of hurtful how hostile she sounds and how Shepard didn't rope her in the first time around and how its the end of galactic life PERIOD, She should be getting involved.

I liked Kasumi, for me she was one of the easier characters to warm up to. (Like Legion and Garrus.)
However, no matter how much I've tried, I can't warm up to Miranda and Kaidan. I don't know why I can't, I just can't. But I understand why people like them.

kasumi steals for the price. for her own pride. mordin did what he did bec he believed it to help a conflict. shepard didn't deliberately kill the batarians, and how does ashley try to kill you, she died on virmire?
besides, i'm just voicing my opinion, you can like/dislike any character you like. i won't judge, i'm just wondering why people like her, i understand all other characters but not her.

so after you've licked your wounded pride and can get over your ego, maybe you can attempt to answer my extremely difficult question -.-

yeah you're right... i'm gonna do another playthru and see what the missions like and see if she opens up a bit. but i have to give bioware credit, i love how throughout the me series they've created all these different characters. we'll see, maybe kasumi wasn't a waste to buy.

She was kinda funny. Thought she was more or less out of her league with the other members of ME2, but I digress.

I didn't absolutely fall in love with her like most people did, but I just like keeping all my characters alive. And she IS an option in the SM in ME2, so she's not useless.

Precisely. It makes no sense and comes out of nowhere. I guess Bioware just up and decided she easily freaks. Oh and that she doesn't like you.

Yes. You should have. Thank God I did.  Should probably have let Jacob into the vents too.

Ridiculous, the whole of it. I had no high expectations for her coming in to ME3. I didn't ask for much. All I wanted was some appearance, no mandatory death and her character intact. But no, too much to ask for apparently.

Anyway there is an official Kasumi thread. Come talk about anything other than her horrendously resentful brain fart here.
