But if enough people don't buy the dlc they will notice the difference in sales from ME3 to DLC.
$$$ Talks

It doesn't speak a particular language, though.

If, against all history and logic, DLCs go out the window and are never made again, the outcome isn't going to be 'put all those DLCs in the Day 1 product.' It will be 'leave those ideas on the cutting room floor.'

And maybe more. The DLC is the high-margin part of the game. Cut that out and the whole project is less profitable. Depending on how much DLC penetration you've got, the DLCs could be subsidizing the main game. That's how some kinds of publishing work

Wait for release, If it's REALLY good, buy. I'm still mad about the ending(but I still love mass effect so that's why I'm here) and won't be buying anything more from bioware/EA myself. Hold the wallet!

I hope many will buy it as it looks amazing and I know I'm not the only one that liked the endings especially post EC.

I trust the story will be interesting. My issue is that I don't see how ANY SP DLC really matters, in light of the endings.  If you can't get past that, the DLC may not be for you.

Not to say that I wouldn't enjoy a "Retake Omega" DLC, or a "Trial" DLC, or any number of such initiatives. I would gladly play them, if the story was well crafted.

My main hiccup is that I'd still have that ending in the back of my mind, and unless anything was affected by it, the DLC would be less meaningful.

ex: Arrival can take place AFTER the final suicide mission.

By contrast, I could also enjoy the DLC is the self-contained story was itself worthwhile, regardless of ending.

ex: Overlord doesn't really rely on much of the rest of the plot, and Firewalker is just a series of random missions.

On the other ME2 DLC: Kasumi can join the run on the Collector Base, and LotSB can take place after the main story as well, but while these affect the overall plot, to a certain extent, the premise is just COOL in either DLC.

So this last case is my preferred method: a DLC which touches on the main plot, but can stand alone as its own epic story.

I trust the BW team, just not their bosses. I'll probably buy on day one, then again, I might wait for reviews, and wait for a sale, but I WILL eventually buy it. ME is the reason I have an xbox.

If I don't, I'll have an incomplete ME3, and that kinda bugs me.

ME3 is already incomplete.

I think I might get the Missing Link DLC for Deus Ex: Human Revolution instead. Seems fitting.

I wish they would release more DLC to that game.
