Hey quiet board!

I've been dealing with tech nonsense with ME1 for a while now. My graphics had been perfect since I DLed the game in June, but exactly after downloading and installing BDtS and Pinnacle Station, my graphics went to crap. So I uninstalled both, still no change. Thought maybe it could be the new AMD Catalyst update, so I rolled all the way back to 12.1, which I ran ME1 on initially... still no change.

Characters' irises are just circles of color now, no more definition, can't see eyebrows, and the lighting's just awful.

I'm not the best tech but I can research enough to figure out any hypotheses you might have on this issue!

[Edit: Oh, and I did try streamlock's graphic-improving tips. Also no result, and I've reinstalled the game since then].

Nowhere within a mile of enough information, sorry!

Oops. You're very right. My bad! Specs:

It's the PC version, digital download through Amazon.
AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Processor 2.80 Hz, 8 GB RAM
Display adapter is AMD Raedon HD 6700 Series, driver version 8.93 (this is not the latest; I rolled back thinking it would fix the problems, but it didn't, so the issue exists on updated driver.) If VRAM means total avabile graphics memory, then I've got 4862 MB.

Got a Realtek HD Audio sound adapter, driver 6.0.1.
OS = Windows 7 Home Premium, service pack 1.
Direct X 11

The problem is lower quality graphics. This only happened after DLing the Origin version of Pinnacle Station and BDtS. I've since then uninstalled both, but no change. The issues are weird lighting, and bad rendering, especially on character eyes. I notice it most in the Normandy, during conversations, and when just walking around, looking at characters. All the details are washed out and things are super pixelated.

The quality I used to get:

The same shot now:

More weird pixely junk:

If anyone has any ideas, that'd be awesome. And thanks for teaching me how to post questions! Learned a lot just by looking up specs. :)
