Third spot is hard, as I do like to use a lot of different weapons to vary my playstyle. Most of my vanguards have a reegar, so it may be third spot, but I've been recently learning the Harrier and am loving it.

(I somehow still have to unlock the pirhana that said, and I can think of quite a few classes where I'd like it).

 valiant wraith combo and scorpion pirahna combo sometimes black widow thats the closest i can give you since i dont usually use just one weapon the top four you see are all pretty much tied for first

1. Harrier with Stability and Extended Barrel

For a power dependent character I usually use the Carnifex

Claymore - no justification necessary.
Hurricane - with the piercing the damage on this is really nice, and it rocks in the GI.
Reegar Carbine - cos it's silly powerful.

1. Indra - used like an AR, this is the best automatic weapon in the game in my opinion. Hurricane is hard to control, Harrier has low ammo, and Typhoon just doesn't do enough damage after the nerf. The Indra doesn't have any of these issues, and literally melts enemies. Plus, it looks awesome when you fire all those tracer rounds!
2. Saber - used like an SR, this is a wicked choice for a sniper. Loads of ammo, and 8 shots before you have to reload, and each shot packs a big punch. In combo with an energy drain or overload class this is a headshot machine.
3. Reegar - when the **** hits the fan, and you have to kill something instantly, there is no weapon i would rather have. Great anti-Phantom gun.

I used to use the Carnifex a ton until the Talon came along.

Piranha. I'd use the Hurricane, Talon, and Harrier if I had them at higher levels. My Indra's at level VII, but I just can't find a reason to use it over the Piranha in Platinum matches. I enjoy carrying the Scorpion as a secondary. If I need 200% cool down I still reach for the Carnifex.
