I have just got Indira to join my party. (She's an NPC from a mod)

Surprisingly enough it's the Indira mod.

She has in her possession a broken weapon.

I am wondering if it will be useful in the future.

Anybody know?

The mod probably used that item to make something else that got lost in the install... Does she have her special “chain mail armour” on i.e. is there a J#indi01.ITM in your override folder?

I have played the Indira mod and AFAIK, there's no other use for the broken weapon than to depict the feel she's just lost a fight with her previous party against the kobold, where all but she were wiped out and it is part of the sorry state she's in after the lost fight. Just atmosphere, nothing more.

Thanks. I didn't want to keep carrying it around if it were not useful in the future, like some other broken weapons are: in Icewind Dale for example.

Yes she does have her special "Chain Mail Armour" which is not bad, though nowhere near as good as the elven chain which she now has.
