OP said he's a very professional critic who calls himself Hulk? LOL. OP is this Hulk guy obviously and trying to get some free publicity on BSN.

I'm not reading this one; after reading the last one's mix of pretentious bull**** mixed with obnoxious insults (AND IT WAS ALL IN CAPS) I really can't take any more.

I did a summary back on page 3, fewer caps.

By his own admission he didn't even play ME1 or ME2. Sorry, but I can't take the opinion of a person who's already admitted he's ignorant of what the **** he's talking about, seriously.

Sure ME3's themes pretty much support the endings. Its the two installments before Mac Walters got into the picture that show ME3 railroaded everything Drew set up to hell.

It doesn't matter whether he did or didn't play he previous two games just like what people do realistically with comics, novels, movies, tv shows, and video games.  Btw this would cause someone to be unbiased to have an open mind.

He's just jumping on the 'knock ME' band wagon for hit counts on their site. Heck, I even read reviews on forbs magazine about how the game was this'n that. The internet is fastly becoming similar to the birds flight on that movie take shelter...and as enigmatic.

If he was like that then he would be completely negative and even contradicting themselves like what Angry Joe and Forbes did.

Where did he argue against the use of logic?

His first review. Went along the lines of "Things don't need to make sense."
Which is BS.

He never said anything along those lines. He said he understood the symbolic imagery of the ending. He also said that regardless of the quality of the ending and how it is intepreted, it is still the pure expression of its creators. If you get too fixated on debating the quality of the ending, you will miss the point of his article.

i didnt read the article, but if thats a summation of its points, i disagree to the max. i mean is it all that difficult to miss ME3s forced symbolism?? pure expresion doesnt mean its a good form of expresion. thats why this stick figure i drew with pretty pigtails isnt haning in the louvre.  and the end to ME3 is obviously not the creators original intentions. and ME3s end is far from being MEs original ending. to me, it was whipped up maybe 4 months before release becuase the script was leaked and bioware knew the game was gonna be awfull. so hudson and walters made the ending right then and there. not before.

Do we really need another topic about this?

Anyway, are we sure this isn't satire? You know, he's saying it takes a big, green, stupid monster like the Hulk to appreciate the "art"?

Read the article before saying that. He actually states that what he's saying is honest and down-to-earth, he is NOT trying to troll or make some subtle satire piece.

i tell people that all the time.

nobody beleives me.

edit; I stand corrected, so he made another article about it....

Analyzing the above statement, if HULK were confident about his original coloumn he wouldn't have done this one. Regardless of the comments received.

It's just his opinion, who cares?

Comparing his release of said coloumn to that of the extended cut is laughable.

Considering sci fi and video games are all based in head canon.. why is head canon a bad thing..all the sudden?

Did I miss another friggen memo?!?

You don't pay 60$ for a game just to imagine what happens. Especially if the game is disappointing.

I guess you haven't played that many RPGs or seen that many cliffhangers done in trilogies.

Yet facts are facts and opinions are onions, I am stating nothing but facts. You are asking me to defend a claim I am not making, this is a huge straw-mann. Pot kettle. Irony.

If you're using the facts then you wouldn't have said the below based on how thats all opinion.  If those were the facts then why would video games be labeled as art and be acknowledged by the National Smithsonian of Art.  Again you clearly don't know what irony is based on your comments.

Greylycantrope wrote...

Essentially  "I'm sorry I came of as combative in my defense of ME3, I could have formed my statement better and I shouldn't have told people who didn't like it to f*ck off, but I stand my orignal statement that I liked the ending because etc."

This part made me chuckle a bit:

"12. ON IRONY...

SO AT THIS POINT THERE ARE THOSE OF YOU WHO WILL NOTE THE IRONY OF HULK WRITING ANOTHER ARTICLE TO ADDRESS THE CONCERNS OF THE LAST ARTICLE IS ACHINGLY SIMILAR TO HOW BIOWARE RELEASED THE EXTENDING ENDINGS TO ADDRESS THE CONCERNS FROM THE EARLIER ENDINGS. HULK UNDERSTANDS THE DESIRE TO MAKE THE COMPARISON, BUT A GAME OR A PIECE OF ART ISINHERENTLYDIFFERENT THAN A COLUMN OF THIS NATURE. FOR ONE, HULK'S COLUMNS ARE 100% PREDICATED ON THE NATURE OF AN ONGOING CONVERSATION AND TWO, HULK WOULD NEVER DO THAT WITH AN ARTISTIC PIECE OF STORYTELLING IF HULK WAS CONFIDENT IN IT. THE FINAL PIECE WOULD BE THE FINAL PIECE.

STILL, ASIDE FROM HULK'S MISGIVINGS ABOUT HULK'S ANGER AND THE WAY THAT HULK WENT ABOUT THE COLUMN, HULK WANTED TO TAKE THIS AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO RESTATE THAT HULK STANDS BYTHE IDEAS IN THE ORIGINAL COLUMN. SO:"

Like comparing video games to art flims Mr. Hulk?
