Hmmm, since Witches of the wilds are very possessive???? are you said if you choice having sex with her, basic you just sell your body to her for sex and she is ownership of your body?

See, that's why you should just go with a rogue like Leliana (or Zevran). It's safer that way. ;)

Just something I noted during my Morrigan romance play through.  She gives you this whole speech about having no designs on my independence.  Yet if I kiss Bella in Redcliffe she gets mad.  If I try to sleep with Isabela she has a hissy fit.  They should have had her be the reverse of Leliana and Alistair. Where you can harden them and they become more forgiving of these kinds of things.  She should be forgiving of all these things until you kill Flemeth and get her to "love".  Then she can get mad about my sleeping around.  Just something I think the game devs should have thought about.

Eh. That's women for ya, especially witches :P lol

That explains how it got necroed, not why? This topic is months old and anyone you could possibly be replying to has long since moved on and forgotten this.

'Morrigan' and 'Forgiving' do not really belong in the same sentence. =)

Well.... Not saying she isn't ****y, but I believe she merely WAS selfish, and still is, though to a far lesser degree. Of course I speak on behalf of all those who romanced her and convinced her the value of friendship and/or love. Ironically, she doesn't show it at all, so I can understand why very many people go with your approach.

But yea heh she, for certain, is not forgiving by any means.

On an off note: Do any players out there feel like the Warden does FAR too much for his/her companions in general and doesn't get ANY respect in return? I mean for **** like giving gifts, doing favors, and what not? I mean sure, whatever, approval is fine.... But doesn't anyone feel underappreciated still?

can we assume you consider sweet, sweet lovin' to be a poor return for a few gifts, some touchy-feely conversation, and the occasional act of homicide. :-)

Given that they fight to the death for you while you spend all the gold on rings and daggers for yourself, no, your companions are the ones getting shortchanged. =)

Necromancy is cool. I wish they had a necromancer spec in DAO. A fantasy-game without armies of undead at your command lacks something.

Sort of have a few spells for Necromancy already, AKA Walking Bomb, Summon Undead. But a specialization under mages would be cool no doubt.

But that´s not real necromancy. A REAL necromancer raises entire ARMIES of skeletons and sends them out to conquer the world while laughing maniacally and tinkering about how to make himself a lich or how to create his undead dragon as mount.

hehe reading the title gave me a bad idea in my head:
IN CAMP
Warden: Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow, when is it going to be my turn? ow ow ow ow ow..

On the other side of camp
Alister: OH maker make it stop!
Sten  :I wish I had stayed in the cage.
Wynne: <Covers her head with a pillow to block the noise.>

Cookies to whoever catches the reference

Actually, one of my characters romanced Morrigan (and yes, even got epilogue in Awakening where Warden goes searching for her) and she's one of my favorite characters in this game. But she's selfish and unforgiving. Look, I myself selfish and unforgiving, it's not uncommon. Maybe that's why I like her - she approved all my favorite choices in this game.
About your "off note" - play Darkspawn Chronicles to see what were your companions risking if you'd failed. What did you expect from them when you started playing? They agreed to follow PC into battle where they most likely will be smashed into bits by an ogre. The moment in DC where Alistair gaze upon Morrigan's dead body (bloodied and broken) made me like her even more in normal game - companions are ready to die fighting under PC's command, that's maximum respect already.

Oh sorry didn't see your post until now:

Excluding love I mean, silly. But what of the other companions? Mainly just a bit of respect for my choices would be LOVELY! After all, that leadership bonus of inspiration isn't there for nothing right? Got that for making the right choices ;)

Some characters do a POOR job of showing a little appreciation in return for what the Warden can do. As a warrior, and a tank might I add, I felt I actually stuck my neck out for them more. I am serious, Sten and Shale give the Warden nothing but a bunch of crap since day one of recruitment, and my Warden specifically was really nice to them the whole time. It's like offering a tray of cookies to Sten and getting kicked in the nuts instead of a thank you.

I didn't play DC yet, but I shouldn't have to find out in some late late patch and/or optional story how much these chars are willing to stay with me, instead of early on. Just something I felt I had to get off my chest is all, but I should probably stop now, I don't want to turn this into the Diablo 3 site or nothing.
