For the last 10 months I have been writing a femShep fanfic, covering origin, background, and all three games:  If It Meant Living (ff.net) / Deviant Art Link / AO3 Link.  It started off light (and lightweight), but once into the ME2 story it became much deeper and involved.

So why do I post now?  Because 69 chapters in, it is reaching the finale of ME3.  For some time I have been weaving the groundwork for an ending that I think and hope is better thought out, more intelligent, more in keeping with the ME story, and more dramatic and uplifting than even the EC endings.

It's a long story, and jumping in at this point, a few things might be confusing, but I don't think overly so.  If you want to start at the beginning, by all means do so!  If not, give it a read anyway if you like - Chapter 69 is the current chapter, and the next one will be published in a few days, the remaining ones over the next few weeks.  Ch.69 (ff.net) / DA / AO3.
