No. "I'm telling you, that gun still owns. You people claiming it was nerfed into uselessness need to learn to shoot." This newbie that looked to have opened a total of 10 SPs since Earth's release is telling those of us who actually have the alternatives that we need to "learn to shoot" because we're wrong about the gun. That's not just a statement of opinion, it's an arrogant fool who won the lottery giving condescending financial advice to the rest of the members of the millionaire club who actually earned theirs.

Not even worth using on that anymore. After the nerf I went back to my more powerful Harrier and Revenant. Typhoon is worse than the Revenant now. Le sigh.

Today. 3 randoms, Gold on FB Ghost. One player had a destroyer with a typhoon. Wave 4, he camps next to me (building facing the right courtyard). I played a Fury with a Talon X (Headshredder barrel + scope + AP 1 rounds). It kicks off. Now, he looked the part. And boy, the Typhoon is a good-looking gun that sounds awesome.

But that's where it ends. He had his ass handed to him. Wasn't even phantoms (as I take it upon myself to keep them at bay -- especially, with the Fury). No, sadly he was mocked by a centurion who seemed impervious to what was flying out of the business end of his Tyfooln. Needless to say, I put one point blank in the impertinent centurion's swede and resuscitated my crestfallen squad mate.
"kerchink- blat, blat, blat thump (as his broken body hits the deck).

Tell him, or the many others like him, there is nothing wrong with the Tyfooln and that it's fine.

He should have gone with Harrier... he has to run to box from box, but atleast it gets the job done.

I tried Typhoon on my Krogan Sentinel, and it is not worth it.
Hurricane, Harrier, PPR all work better than typhoon. Much better.
Hell, I actually prefer taking black widow compared to typhoon for efficiency.

Why would I take heavy Hornet (similar speed of taking down targets) if I am more accurate with other weapons?

The typhoon isn't the best and isn't the worst gun out there.
However, The harrier just blows.
So I'm not sure how anybody could recommend that over a typhoon.
You kill like one trooper per clip and only get like 4 clips....

You don't do a lot of headshots, do you? Plus piercing mod lets you shoot trough enemies.

The typhoon like all other "OP" guns is just fine as it is now. People were abusing the gun @ level 1. No level 1 gun, besides bi-weekly N7 weapons should ever be on almost any class and still be awesome. Thats not balanced, thats giving kids a crutch to play in higher difficulties than they should be.

The typhoon also like any other weapon gets modded and people orgasm in they're tighty-whiteys. ....Every gun has some kick to it when you fully mod it up. (Cept every geth gun besides the shotgun) People need to stop getting wow factor and start actually looking at #s.

People are just b****in because they're level 1 gun isn't shooting like a level 10. Now the gun is just an accurate Revenant until its 8+ i believe, which most people don't have, so now they don't see the magic anymore. LOL excuse me I just find it hilarious people get butthurt that they have to work for something good instead of just have it given to them like they're trash azzes deserve stuff.

A Harrier, one trooper per clip? . More like 4 or 5. Also, use an Extended Magazine. 

As for the Typhoon, it is not a boss killer anymore. Had it at I prenerf (still is at I), and it mowed down bosses if I put Warp ammo IV and some Assault Rifle Amp. It does decently on Gold, because there are a lot of trash mobs to kill, but it doesn't kill bosses (Atlases, Brutes, Banshees, Primes) efficiently anymore, even with the Destroyer's bonuses and Warp ammo and Amps. And since Platinum is mainly a boss rush mode with sub bosses, a LMG with a decent, but not great DPS, feels like a Rare, not an UR.

It's not useless, but it's worse than before. It might also be because apparently the gun is bugged, the multiplier doesn't work properly.

I appreciate the complement thank you. You like everyone else on the other hand don't think outside of what they see I notice. The nerf is justified, why? Because someone who just got out of bronze because they got a typhoon 1, playing on destroyer with no experiance ever on gold is able to "keep up" with the rest of the team simply because his magic gun is melting everything, IS NOT BALANCED. The same thing was an issue with the krysea, "I have no skill and I can't shoot, but this gun lets me hit things Im not even shooting at, so I can play gold just fine." Take your trash and sell it to someone who eats that garbage. I'm with the nerf 100%.

I didn't think you could come up with anything stupider, but then you went and said that a gun that requires people to be out of cover for extended periods of time to do any real damage lets bronze players hold their own in gold.  Bravo, you put the bar on the ground and still didn't manage to clear it.  I'm pretty sure you'll have to just start headbutting the keyboard to come up with anything dumber now.  Don't disappoint us!

I had the typhoon at lvl 1 per-nerf. I now have it at lvl V post-nerf and the lvl 1 pre-nerf was a better weapon
