So, wait...did I read this correctly? The Mechromancer will be out on October 16th? Is the b12wiki a reliable source?
And might I just mention how excited I am about Gaige, the Mechromancer?
Edit: Aww, yeah, it's true. The Mechromancer is the fifth Vault Hunter to be added to Borderlands 2, and is expected to be ready for release some time after Borderlands 2 itself is released. The design of the class was to create a character for players who are not as good at first-person shooters as their friends are, but are still able to play alongside them. To that effect, one of the class's skill trees (Best Friends Forever) employs skills that help the player succeed, but at a limited degree of success. At the same time, the class's other skills promote high-risk, high-reward skill-based playing, which makes this class both the easiest and hardest class to play, depending on skill choices. Update: release date is oct. 16th.

That way I have a character where I can just jump on with anyone and then Maya and Gaige I can do story runs with, oh and zer0. Hmmm looks like I'm going to have a lot of runs of this game

I think it's cool that Gaige will be able to outfit Death Trap with rockets and the like, similar to Axton and his Sabre Turret. I'm not sure I can handle all the squee that week. The Walking Dead season 3 premiere is just two days prior.
You know, in a way, I kinda wish we could have followers. I'd choose Tiny Tina in a heartbeat. That girl cracks me up! And also Lilith. She's got much more personality this time around. Can you imagine two Sirens making mincemeat out of bandits?
Oh yeah, I guess we kind of already did.

^ You and me both. I will probably put off RE6 and Dishonored to continue my B2 blitz. That's kind of a big deal for me, and shows just how much I love this game!

I was kind of worried that Axton would be boring. But I love the Sabre turret and lets you vary the playstyle so much. It's also saved my bacon, literally as if it kills things it gives you second wind!
Yeah Lilith is really cool, and the characters are are full of life. Love Lilith. Hehe. I can't wait to have another game with you as Maya now you're upping the Cataclysm tree. I think I'll go half way down harmony to up the survivability of Maya increase the time of Phaselock the pour everything else into Cataclysm.
Death Trap looks awesome!
One of the problems with the first game, I think that many of the trees didn't feel worth investing in or that you could get the best skills easily. This one. It actually feels woth going down to the bottom of the tree to max skills out. like adding a double gun and rockets to Axton's turret, the longbow Nuclear blast or Gemini Turrets
Haha, yep You kind of did in Frostbite Canyon.

I played Lilith in B1, and rarely ever used her Phasewalk. I feel really silly admitting it, but I didn't really understand at the time how it worked. So instead, I learned to rely on my guns. I played co-op with my husband, who was playing as Mordecai, so he and Bloodwing were more or less my meat shields. Heh.
With Maya, though...as soon as the cooldown on Phaselock has ended, I immediately use it again. For me, it's a much more useful skill to have. I'm one level away from Blight Phoenix, which I'm looking forward to trying. I think once I finish this playthrough, I'll probably start another Maya one, but with a focus on the Motion skill tree.

I am your average Cataclysm fan. The Motion tree is great too and I'll dip into that later, but I prefer Ruin to Thoughtlock.

I just did that 10 minutes ago with Maya. It was awesome

I don't know if I need to say this, but Phasewalk is the most powerful skill in both games. At first though, it's kind of pointless. With a full build at 69, it's ridiculous. I'm happy Maya has a more reasonable action skill. Incredibly powerful, but it doesn't make you immortal.

Phaselock is the bee's knees to me. I like it, because I can stay ranged and snipe.
Maybe that's why Phasewalk was something I didn't really get into - it seems like it's more useful if you're willing to get up close and personal. Also, I had feathers and a beak at that point in time, so...yeah.

But Phaselock is growing on me. If for no other reason than using it to get an easier shot behind a nomad's shield, or to hit the pyro versions in the fuel tank.

I loved Phasewalk more...but thats probably because melee range is my favorite place to be. That and equipping the item that turned it into the flaming version. She'd just bake groups with that.
Ah, i always used the corrasive version. The sweet screams of my melting victims.
Phasewalk in first game was a bit OP (ok more than a bit) i like "lock" better. Provides me sweet time for shotguning faces. Corrasive of course

Any question that my video card is going bad its gone.
That means no Dishonored, AC3 or any of the other great games coming out until I upgrade my computer.... I think I'm going to cry.

I do like the look of phase lock though. I had a look through the skill tree and I'll probably go with Cataclysm and half way down motion for the extra duration with only 5/7 points in harmony for the health regen.
It does look a lot of fun when I played with you Alana, really different to Axton's turret, so it'll probably be my second character.

Maya is awesome. Such a fun character to play. Seriously jazzed about Gaige, though.

Have I mentioned how a love all the little details in this game? When you go to your inventory to compare items, your character sometimes comments on it. Same thing when picking skills.
I made a particularly hairy sideways stunt jump in a car yesterday and Maya definitely sounded scared.

And OMG, every main quest mission I do makes me hate Handsome Jack more and more. I'm glad I shot his dumb sheriff girlfriend (but I didn't shoot the deputies). Heh.

Whoa, that Natural Selection Annex (Creature Slaughter Dome) is nuts! Me and a friend completed 5 rounds in there last night, and I must say, it's definitely more difficult than Fink's Slaughterhouse. I haven't gotten to the Hyperion one yet. In the NSA, I died in rounds 2 and 3, and when I respawned, I was in a room up above the action, and was still able to use my action skill and take potshots to help out. The fourth and fifth rounds seemed easier by comparison.

Yes we did!
Haha we did well in Lynchwood. We have to take on the Giant Skag, unless we alredy did it? I can remember.

I do still need to do the Giant Skag quest in Lynchwood, two quests in The Fridge, and four in that Sawtooth area. I didn't play for long last night - just long enough to get Mal some new clothes and body parts (then 'kill' him, so he'd feel pain and thus be human, lol). I saw that the Hyperion slaughter dome was right behind that, but didn't go in.
I found a door blocked by electricity right around the inside entrance of the EB, opened it, went in, and got my butt handed to me by a mass of Bedrock Bullymongs. Waa.

Hehe. Yeah those Bullymong are tough, I know the place you're talking about though. Hehe we can do the slaughter dome too if you want, along with the other quests. I'm going to fight the warrior another couple of times to bost my weapons, equipment and level and then hit True Vault Hunter Mode.
I tried to fight Terramorphis, because my brother is a dumb arse and wanted to see if we could take him on. Terramorphis is lvl 52 and I couldn't even scratch him. Considering the damage you've seen me dish out when we play together it should say something about how tough he is.

Are you starting a new run with Maya? You will love her. I am one level-up away from Ruin - can't wait to try it out! While I'm kind of excited to get back into playing Axton, I am more excited to try out the Motion tree. Dang that sexy woman, I'm hooked!

So it's why I want to try a second run and see just what new enemies, bosses and stuff come up, I think they said they've done a lot of tweeks for the True Vault Hunter mode, rather than just giving everything more health.
Although I want to try Maya too, damn! You're right she is a sexy lady
