What? Sal is great.
As for the three unnamed achievements, we can safely assume one is tied to Gaige's action skill as the others get one too. The two others... Well, who knows.
Is he? I was listening to his Echo recordings in Thousand Cuts, and thought he kinda sounded like a meathead; just shy of a caveman. I'm curious about his gunzerker skill, but hope those recordings weren't indicative of his true personality.
I finished the game on Saturday, with Maya. Well, the main quest, anyway. Now I'm going back and closing up loose ends, and building up my badass points.
My take on Borderlands 2 is that it's phenomenal. I would put it in my top 5 games of all time. In fact, I told my husband that it was the 'most epic game ever', and he asked, 'what about Skyrim'? Oh yeah.

In my many, many hours of play, I only had two glitches (and no lock-ups):
- The first was when Maya suddenly had Axton's voice. Hearing a man's grunts for several hours while playing a female was quite disconcerting. Even when using Maya's action skill, it was Axton's voice. Luckily, that worked itself out finally, and has been fine since.
- The second was a sinking floor issue in the Eridium Blight. In one area of a bandit camp, Maya and the buggy kept sinking through the ground, and landing on the road underneath. If you know the area, you know that's pretty lucky, considering all the hot lava flowing nearby. Overall, a miniscule issue, barely worth mentioning.
In regard to challenges, that one where you have to turn on the radio tower above Slab Town is ridiculously difficult. I'd figured out how to get across the bridge, but that first leap onto the roof of the building is, well, a challenge. I got tired of trying before I went on to something else, but it will nag me until I get it accomplished.
I tried out Vault Hunter mode, and was hoping it would actually be a different vault somewhere, based on Lilith's comments, but it's simply NG+ from what I can tell. I only got as far as clearing out Liar's Berg, but was happy to see that enemies were tougher, and loot drops were much better.
Overall, this game was well-written, and evoked real feelings of anguish. Handsome Jack is probably the most effective antagonist I've seen in a long time. Bravo.
