Unfortunately there are more Gaige bugs. Buck Up sometimes heals an enemy. The Prodigy mod REDUCES your reload speed. Those are just the ones I know of.

Seriously, what an awesome week it's going to be. The Walking Dead season premiere was last night, then Captain Scarlet tomorrow. Awesome.

I wonder if I will ever get any Seraph weapons though. I played the crap out of Borderlands 1 (Knoxx included) and never got one pearl. In Borderlands 2, I have found 3 orange items in total, and that's in about 90 hours of playtime. 1 of them was just plain awful, 1 was worse than my green shield 1 level higher (scaling is nuts in TVHM), and the last one was awesome (the grenade from Boom Bewm).

I was pretty happy to see another Claptrap storage unit while in Vault Hunter mode (at Claptrap's place). Yay for 4 more slots! I didn't get far in THVM; are there any other new areas or items from the original playthrough?

Anyway I am near 48 with Gaige and Deathtrap is still kicking much butt even without any points boosting it! I was fully expecting it to suck unless you invested heavily in it. It doesn't.

New areas? None that I know of. But there are plenty of new enemies. Just wait until you see your first super badass pyre thresher. You will most likely run away screaming.
Note that you might want to leave the quests with good rewards for level 50, as the rewards will scale if and only if you do not pick up the quest until 50. As soon as it's in your log, the rewards are no longer scaled up.

I saw that psychos went to "maniacs" in TVHM, but I really only got as far as Liar's Berg, before I started a Mechromancer playthrough. I am not looking forward to that thresher at all.

I'm at lvl 36 with Axton and I'm in Liar's Berg doing quests, so fingers crossed I will be at lvl 50 before I get too far into my second run. And I still got Maya to do >.< D'oh
super badass Pyro Thresher that sounds nasty. We fought the badass version Alana, not the super badass, I also took down 3 ultimate badass Varkids when I was doing the creature slaughter dome with you. So, I really want to see them on TVHM.
There is also a huge Varkid, way bigger than the Ultimate Badass Varkids I've fought, anyone encountered it yet?

Damn, I'm really going to have to get back into this after my short binge on ME3 MP to max out my manifest as a week later I'm already getting bored with it again.

We need to get to level 50, so we can go fight Terramorphis. Well, with help!
I think I actually saw a pyro thresher in the wild, in the Highlands, but it took off before I could finish it. I'll admit, I was shaking in my boots about it, as it was the first one I'd seen, but after it came out, I was able to get a couple of hits in on it, then it went back in the ground, and didn't come back. I was near that pond with the house, retrieving one of Tannis' recordings when it popped out.

Deathtrap is very helpful with some of these things. I use him a lot even with an Anarchy build. You can't really get close to Super Badass Loaders or Super Badass Varkids in TVHM unless you have monster gear or high anarchy stacks. But Deathtrap can. I am still surprised at how durable he is.
PS: I am not dying as much as I thought I would in TVHM, and it isn't just with Gaige. I barely ever die with Maya either. Usually if I die it's because I jump off a cliff (I do that a lot) or because a pyre thresher spawns on top of me. And I had been waiting with it because I thought I would get owned too badly. Silly me.

What is the deal with Caustic Caverns? Every time I attempt to go in there, even at a higher level, it's just as awful as the first time! Most of the other locations seem to get easier, whereas that one seems to actually level.
I felt pretty good last night, though. One of my XBL friends told me that he kept dying fighting Blue, and hated Caustic Caverns. I thought that was interesting, as Blue was the easiest "boss" I'd come across in the entire game. Maybe it was just that I was using Maya, but it took all of about 10 seconds to kill him. The regular crystallisks seem more difficult, comparatively. (imho)
Maya and Gaige are both pretty badass. I just wish I'd stop calling Deathtrap "Claptrap".

But yeah, it also means you can't outlevel it.
And yes Blue does seem easier than the average Crystalisk. Shame, because it looks awesome.

I only found one orange weapon( a rocket launcher) in my second run of BL2 IIRC.
Are you playing solo or with others. Loot quality and quantity scales with the number of players a bit, so the more you have the better chances for orange weapons. The drawback is you'll all be hating each other fighting over the (still quite rare) orange weapons.
Gearbox is just evil like that.

My Zero's sniper rifle is the best weapon, although that Texas Shotgun is pretty badass!
Boom's flame pistol is also handy when you're surrounded by Ice Trolls .. or are they Yetis?

You learn pretty quickly to not get all the way up to a boss fight and quit. I did that with the Flynt fight, and had to start all the way back at Liar's Berg. I've learned my lesson, you could say.
I believe you're referring to Bullymongs?
Thanks for the links! This just makes me even more excited to play.Skelter192 wrote...

That was in a co-op run with one other. Hopefully in Captain Scarlet I'll get more.
