Also, I like claptraps. They are supposed to be annoying of course, but outside of Robolution, they really aren't pestering you that often.

I will stay away from all source of information about Borderlands 2 from Tuesday to Friday I think.
Anyway I hear Roland calling. Something about "guns over here".

Wow that looks terrible. Which is a shame since the actual game footage looks so good.

To be honest, I'm not much of a fan of live action stuff, as real-life people seem clumsy to me.

Meh... I preordered from a store. Contemplating unpreordering and preordering again on Steam so I can play it a grand total of 30 minutes before bedtime next Thursday.

I predict a hyped up all-nighter happening lol. The delayed release date sucks, I thought just Australia was getting screwed having to wait until Thursday.

Nope. The standard is to release games on Tuesdays in the US and later in the rest of the world. If you ask why, you get told that "this is the way it has always been".
Anyway, I had better stay away from the midnight stuff. I don't want to sleep at work because I stayed up all night playing

My Gamestop may have a midnight release, and I'd attend it. Dunno if I'd stay up to play it, but we'll see.
Mine does, and I don't sleep until 4am anyway (can still wake up in 2 hours and function better than those that get 8 though). So playing I will be.

I never felt anything really negative about the Claptrap character. Yes those endlessly repeated lines and animations made me want to slaughter hordes of them (which DLC provided!) but I'm holding development laziness and oversights accountable for that instead of branding Claptrap as inherently obnoxious. As far as I'm concerned when Claptrap is intended to be funny and the joke isn't tirelessly repeated they generally succeed with the humor. Also, I like claptraps. They are supposed to be annoying of course, but outside of Robolution, they really aren't pestering you that often.

I started up a new playthrough over the weekend, and when I went to bed last night, I stopped at level 17. I don't think I'll be able to finish it before Tuesday.
You're just not hardcore enough. Actually, I didn't get further in a weekend myself.
It's always funny starting over in Borderlands and realizing how incredibly annoying Moe and Marley are. And Bonehead for that matter. The balance is really messed up if you are soloing the first bit. The rest of the game is much, much easier.
Except for Mad Mel. Hardest boss in the entire game. By far.
Same here, I am so sick of delayed launch dates for us. As a result, I won't miss my workouts and I won't be tired at work. The horror!zeypher wrote...
damn i gotta wait till the 21st to play it. Indian launch is then.

In my other playthroughs on PS3, I played co-op with my husband. Some enemies are quite a bit more challenging when you're by yourself!
I've done pretty well with not dying solo, but was simply not prepared for fighting the Roid Rage psycho and all the midget psychos in Sledge's Safehouse. I had a missile launcher, but it was the first time I'd used it in the game. I am sad to say that I died twice. By then, most of the enemies from the checkpoint had respawned, so I got to fight them on the way. But the third try was the charm. Then I got to re-fight everything on the way out, and then some. I'd forgotten about that fun part.
It took me a little bit to figure out how to take out the larva crab worms in the Lost Cave, but that's also the first time I used a shotgun in this playthrough...probably any playthrough, actually. I was mostly sticking to sniper rifles and repeaters. I tried out TK's Wave for the first time in any playthrough, and had to laugh. That thing is pretty dang fun. Mostly useless against those crab worms, but fun.

Anyways, not much longer now. I’ll be in line at EBGames first thing tomorrow (no midnight launch) to pick up my ULCE and then it’s down to my den for two days. When all is said and done, I think I’m more excited for BL2 then ME3.
My mind is ready! I am looking forward to compare “notes” in here soon, but for the sake of the Europeans here, I’ll wait till next week.
Have fun everyone. Good shooting and may the Lootz be Yours!!
