1) Apologies for selling something that they damn well knew wouldn't be acceptable and truth about why they messed up, I bet it all comes down to EA.

2) Leaving said publisher.

I'm sure if they could leave they would. But knowing Ea's demon spawn lawyers. The devised a contract making them their slaves for a good long while...

Retcon ME3, new writers who can tell a story without getting all 'artistic' about it.

I am happy with the destroy ending so i would hope that Bioware makes more similar games.

Nothing short of a Retcon of the ending, much like "Broken Steel" DLC for Fallout. The crap that currently is makes me puke everytime I think about launching any of the games in the trilogy.

By actually caring about the game, and taking their time with it.
They did not do this with ME3.

I think I'm lost as a Mass Effect product consumer. I still love the universe and the characters. But after being disappointed/heartbroken by ME3 and then let down by the EC I don't see myself buying any future Mass Effect products.

Imo Bioware just isn't who they used to be. Right now all I can handle is fan art.

I'd give a ME4 a chance if there was more actual roleplaying. In ME3 it was made clear to me that Shepard wasn't really my character.

If I could play as a snarky Geth, male Quarian completing his Pilgrimage, or even a Krogan I'd definitely consider playing an ME4.

In ME3 multiplayer, the variety in class and race customization made me feel like what I played with was more 'mine' than Shepard was.

Shepard. That's it.

But it won't happen, and too many fans don't want it to, so nothing I guess.

To say ME3 was a game of indoctrination and to launch ME4 as the real game/ Seriously me3 should be wiped from the books.

Believe it or not, I think I hope ME3 buries the franchise. I can't bear to see any additional content, not to mention a new off-shoot franchise or continuation of the Normandy's story. I think, philosophically, it's too late for a retconn or amendment. I say ME gets put to rest so we can finish our mourning and move on.

Fire Walters and let Weekes take over.  Split off multiplayer to a second game and don't force all this ipad and multiplayer metagaming bull**** down our throats to "enhance" the single player game.   Be an rpg developer again instead of action and shooters with rpg depth equal to a God of War game, not that being shooter rpg or action rpg is bad but the balance is really tipped away from rpg at this point too much.  Oh yeah, and lay off the auto dialog.  It works sometimes, but conversation depth with extensive trees of choices was arguably the most important aspect of the series and they for some reason in hell decided to strip it down significantly in ME3.

By Un****ing Mass Effect 3 and retconning/ignoring the whole game. This sh*t should be kaboosh, buried, rethought. Let it go the way of Deception; non-canon what-if.

Appointing new community reps (not replacing Chris and Jess). Just more open, transparent people who'd actually reply to the (BSN) community on a more regular basis. MP and Dragon Age folks aside.

Drew Karpyshyn returns/Patrick Weekes becomes head writer

Casey speaks his own mind rather being reduced to filtered speak.

Backup what they say/no more bullsh*t hype.

And lastly, this is the most important part, a consistent, naturally flowing, well written story with NO last minute plot twists, and no going for artsy crap. Just let it be what it is on its own merits.

-Demo
-Free day-one DLC for ME3 owners
-increased combat/RPG complexity
-Not bending the truth too far
-rewarding/punishing choices with no polarity and are dynamic with previous choices.
...
I could go on but I'm already asking for too much.

No Shepard. Sequel not a prequel. Not an MMO. But realistically they haven't "lost" me. Although the overall plot, and the ending in particular, was not great, I still rated ME3 as a very good game. Multiplayer was a good addition as well although I don't think it should effect single player at all..

I wish the end of ME3 was better, but I'm glad it is the end. Every series needs to end instead of being run into the ground for the ca$h. I want Bioware to work on something new. So I vote no ME4.

HERE HERE!

i feel the same way, i have no desire to play anything ME related right now, but i loved the franchise that it is so hard to let go..

they wanted the call of duty audience, they got it....who wants to go play call of duty?
