OK I get a lot of people love both of these weapons, but come on we have 47 other weapons in this game use something else.

The game will get alot less boring if you step out of your comfort zone and use any of the other weapons you have unlocked.

And I am not exaggerating when I say that in every match I play at least one player is using one of these guns.

Edit: I meant overused not overrated.

And what I mean by overused is that even if people have lets say a Saber 5 they would use there Harrier 1 with it low ammo over it.

As for the Carnifex it's not as bad as let say a month ago but almost every Adept or Engineer I see still tries snipe with it instead of any of the great guns that Adept can use like Phaeston, Arc Pistol or even the GPS.

Like I said I get that a lot of people love them, but would it hurt to try something new?

Oh, I use other guns. But the Carnifex is anything but overrated. That thing can pop heads like grapes, and is fairly light to boot.

I agree with the Carnifex being overrated. Paladin I can outshine a Carnifex X, only downside is the amount of weight it has.

I think what you mean to say is that there are 2 weapons balanced well enough that they are hugely popular, and 45 that have enough of a problem that the choice is biased against them.

 Well they are 2 of the best guns. Should I change my weapon because you dont like it? You do what you want and I'll do what I want. Dont like it? Make like minded friends and play with them. Also using the guns is anything but boring since I can actually kill enemies.

I think you mixed up the words overused with overrated btw.

Carnifex may be a tad overrated, but you would have had more of a case several months ago when that was all that any adept and most casters in general ever used. It's less common to see them in lobbies now in my experience. People have finally caught on to the Talon, for instance, and there are a lot more Hurricanes floating around now than there were in May.

Cerberus Harrier isn't overrated at all. It's just that good. Easily within the game's top five weapons, and probably top three.

Also, the OP does not address the title at all.

Don't worry, once people finish maxing out their Paladin, you'll see a whole lot more of that, and whole lot less of Carnifex.

As for Harrier...it's really just that good, lol.

I love them both dearly. I'll take my Carnifex II over my Phalanx X any day, and the Cerberus Harrier, even at level I, is a joy to use as long as you mind your ammo. Tears s*** up.

Only pistol I like better than the Carni is the Talon. I don't have a Paladin yet.

Harrier is great out of cover, recoil is more manageable than while in cover. Sounds backwards I know but it's been that way since the gun released.

I stand next to an ammo crate and pretend I'm a turret.

I prefer my Arc X over my Carnifex X. For a minuscule increase in weight it has more capacity, fire rate, damage and equal accuracy.

You really shouldve used the word too much hype than overrated.
They are good guns.
And your post sounds like a mini rant. Why get bothered with another person's weapon choice is beyond me.

Not a huge fan of the Carnifex either. The RoF seems painfully slow for a pistol to me.

Can't comment on the Harrier, since I don't have one. :|
