I very much enjoy my Carnifex on casting classes. I do like the Talon more, in terms of utility, but the low weight/high damage of the Carnifex has it as my go-to sidearm for most of my casting classes.

But I love Harrier. It feels good and there isn't any other AR that does the job in the same way. I dislike the single/burst fire ARs and Typhoon has few issues that makes it a lesser gun. It's still fun to use.

It's all about fun.

Harrier I has better DPS than any other assault rifle at level X. How is that overrated?

People should try different weapons, but they won't and calling their favorite weapon overrated is just going to make them cranky.

And what I mean by overused is that even if people have lets say a Saber 5 they would use there Harrier 1 with it low ammo over it.

As for the Carnifex it's not as bad as let say a month ago but almost every Adept or Engineer I see still tries snipe with it instead of any of the great guns that Adept can use like Phaeston, Arc Pistol or even the GPS.

Like I said I get that a lot of people love them, but would it hurt to try something new?

I haven't even unlocked the harrier yet, you can be damn sure when I do I'm going to use the hell out of it - it's shiny and new!

For pistols I prefer the talon over the carnifex in most cases.

you only need to try everything else once to find out it cant do **** against enemies. the Harrier is used by everyone because its effective

personally, i love the Avenger. but its use is very limited on anything but bronze. even there it seems its use has taken a turn for the worse

That's because there's only a few good guns in each class, and the rest is filler or highly situational.

So yes you are only going to see, in the players who've unlocked the guns, the use of the Carnifex, Paladin, Talon, Harrier, Revenant, Claymore, Piranha, Valiant, or Hurricane

Don't worry guys, they'll be run into the ground in a couple of weeks. Then everyone won't have to every worry about seeing them again.

Yes both work great on an Adept and your cooldown will still be low.

It wouldnt hurt us. It would hurt the team. Do you want me to equip the locust for the sake of diversity? I'll use the best weapons available so we can win.

A gun only gets about 12% more damage from 1-10 so it makes sense they would use a harrier 1 as opposed to the saber 5. If I remember correctly the best guns in the game are claymore,gps,harrier,paladin,carnifex,bw,maybe indra now, hurricane,reager,piranha,talon,valiant. Slightly less powerful but still great are the acolyte,scorpion,grall,kishok. These are the weapons people want to use if they want to have an easy/good game. Your suggestion of using the phaeston and arc pistol is just bad advice.

Most people have a limited time to play and will naturally use the gun they feel that will give them the most success and the most fun to use,

Nest week, it may be a different set of guns depending on nerfs/buffs

This thread is so bad that it's not even funny. Everyone is free to use which ever gun they prefer. Telling people to use something else for the sake of diversity is a way of trying to control how they can play the game. You use whatever you like - change a different gun to every single match if you want - but let rest of us play the way we want to play. Also, you have no way of knowing how long each player has owned a certain gun, like the Harrier for example, so the "overused" argument is flawed.
