[Palidane]

I recently bought the Dragon Age Ultimate Edition off steam, and this has been bugging me to no end. I know that when you get into a conversation, the background is supposed to blur out of focus, only for me, the "blur" is super grainy and pixelated. Its worst with transitions, I can clearly see the pixel border on the edge of characters and background objects. Disabling the frame buffer effects gets rid of it, but I miss the cool effects around magic items and the game is too dark. I'm playing at my native resolution and have Anti-Aliasing set to max. How can I clean up the background blur?
