No pre-order for me.
DA2 broke me from sucking eggs.
If DA3 is anything like DA2 I simply will not play the game, let alone buy it.
DA2 is, in my opinion, just a series of fed-x "quests" set in the same place, using the same tile sets in the same couple of caves, homes and warehouses...with a few cgi scenes plunked down from time to time, just..to...make it.....ummm...something or other I guess.
Oh, and the DRM, how many types will there be in this game, two, three?
Anybody else not going to pre-order Dragon Age 3?

No, I'm not going to preorder it..... I didn't like the direction they took with the series (cutting lots of management and customization options, recycled areas, wave mechanich, even aesthetics) and specially I think that the control system on PC was a TOTAL FAILURE

I could have sworn I already answered this today, but since I didn't, hear goes.
Not pre-ordering. Since the same lead designer is in charge of the third one than I can only assume the game is going to be just as bad as DA2. Once, Bioware starts giving out information on the direction that they have taken DAIII than I'll see if its worth pre-ordering.

even if it looked awsome i dont think i could bring myself to do it
pre ordering me3 only to wait a month for the import fix was way too frustrating

Way too early to talk about pre-orders in any sense given how very little is even known about the game itself.

dont know yet still want another DA game but it has to be a lot better than DA2
if it is going back to DAO i would pre-order right away
if its like DA2 ill have to think about it depending on the direction they take the game
if its a cross between DAO and DA2 i guess i would pre order depending on story and gameplay
ps
IMO DA2 wasn't a bad game just not a true successor to the Brilliant DAO
and was/is more of an Spinoff than a follow up

No preorder for me, I'll be looking at player reviews first. If DA3 comes out on the PS3, I'll consider renting it.

I will preorder it, and will do my best not to read any online hype/criticism/reviews or watch any trailers. I want to go in knowing nothing and form my own opinion.

Yep because im giving DA a second chance. If that one is bad im just giving up all together.
Bioware can make a good game! DA2 was just crap, everyone makes mistakes even Pixar made some.

i worship at the temple of demo. the almighty god of demo will determine the whole of my destiny. all hail demo the mighty, the insightful, the prophetic, and the wise. the i-don't-have-to-waste-a-dime-if-it's-only-going-to-suck. i let my supreme deity determine what i will pay in advance to agonize over waiting for.
I do not trust demos. For example, Dragon Age II; one of the game's biggest flaws was reused maps but you can't notice it by playing the demo. I think the safest way is reading honest reviews (not some "this-game-is-the-best-RPG-in-the-decade-because-it's-an-EA-game" folly) and playing a large portion of the game before buying.
while i have to admit the rerused maps got waaaaay old, i didn't feel like i wouldn't like DA2 from the demo, and i was proven right. i enjoyed the game immensely in spite of its flaws. the demo gave me enough about the game to feel like i didn't waste my time agonizing over something i may or may not like on preorder, and made me feel secure about buying it at all. i've also rejected games based on demo that i only thought i would have liked.
most times i've bought a game without demo, prorder or no, i've been disapointed. even with reviews. for instance, i bought ME2 because "honest" reviews were mostly positive and the fans all seemed to love it, but i hated it about two minutes in. not playing a demo version put me in a situation where i felt like i'd wasted my money on other people's tastes. if you don't know you're alergic to wool before you buy it, you end up scratching.
most times i've bought a game based on demo, preorder or no, i've been satisfied with the experience. DA2 was proof positive to me because i never would have bought it because i was (and still am) peved about the lack of a race option. it was only after i played the demo that i didn't miss out on what is now one of my favorite games of all time. bottom line? i worship demo for a reason. the outcome isn't always perfect, but it's never a slamming my head against a wall wondering why i wasted money experience.

I will wait and see untill there is more news. Screenshots as well. If the DA3 elves looks like the DA2 ones, I won`t touch this game.

Not sure yet. If multiplayer finds its way in DA3 I certainly won't preorder and possibly won't even buy it later on.
If multiplayer is not featured then I'll judge the rest and see. Aside from the game itself, a good Collector's Edition could be an incentive for me. Something like The Witcher 2's CE but with a cloth map instead of Geralt's bust would be great

Forget preorder. I'm not buying the game until I look up the ending on youtube. If they don't pull a ME3, I'll buy it with a big smile.

I've pre-ordered 3 games in my entire life. I'll wait and see as usual. If it has an MP troll casino like ME3 then I will not buy it.

I'm going to pre-order it customize my pc, if it's Hawke, it's going right back to the store. If it's my warden, say hello to the happiest girl in the world. and if it's neither, I'll play until the middle to see if I like it.
You can guess where it's going from there.

After the fubar with ME3 I'm not gonna preoder BW games again. They've lost any confidence I had that they would offer a good finished product from the start.
I plan to buy it even if it's not as good as DAO and more on a level with DA2, because I still enjoyed that game.
I will however wait until the prices drop before I buy it. A game for 20 bucks + 10 bucks for a day one DLC^^ make 30 bucks, a new game will probably cost no less than 60 bucks.

Literally zero chance.
Actually the exeprience i've had of being let down by Me3 and Da2 has pretty much killed my chances of me pre ordering any game, not just Bioware ones.
The only thing thats going to get me buying a game now is recomendations from actual people I know not pre release hype, reviews from big gaming websites or even liking the previous game in a series because quite simply they aren't reliable indications of whether I will like a game. I spent a fair bit of cash on da2 and me3 at release on the back of hype reviews and reputation and frankly I wish I hadn't.
Only chance of getting me buying a Bioware game again is to make an actual good game which real people will recomend to me.
Its not just Bioware, i'm sick of paying 40 bucks Deus Ex on the back of goodness knows how many 10 out of ten of ten reviews from the mainstream gaming media and getting a game that is average at best, in contrast with Witcher 2 and Dark souls I had my friends saying "you need to get this game i'm playing its great fun" and of course they were brilliant fun.
Its fair to say i've learned my lesson and am probably more than a little jaded by some of my games playing experiences in the last year.

Yeah, I'll be preordering it just to get whatever exclusive armor that will be packed with it. I might wait a day or two to get the general consensus about the game before throwing all my dosh at it though.

Im not buying the game altogether if Bioware makes female PC on the covers and everything. if that happens DA 3 is not for me, ill just play The Witcher 3, FIFA 13, Battlefield 4 or other maly games. no wonger BW games are flops

I found DA2 disappointing and the ME3 was unquestionably the worst ending of any medium that I can remember having read/played/watched. No, I won't pre-order it, and I won't get it anytime immediately after release. I will be waiting a LONG time, waiting for reviews from non-'professional' reviewers, and once the price has dropped. Then IF the game is hailed as phenomenal, and IF there are no other, more interesting games out, then I MIGHT buy a used copy. No promises.
