The only thing underrated about DA2 was how bad it was...

No it is not. i thought the same way in my first 2 playthroughs, case i was a total idiot and wanted to see DAO2.
the game stabnds on its own and has some  great features, characters are very good interaction s are best and some storyline quests are GREAT.

But the gameplay, animations and combat were absolutely terrible.
And those are the core of the game.

The storyline was pretty terrible too, and the game got too dumbed down for the console crowd.
It might have a strong story and awesome writing if your standards for such are grounded in anime & JRPGs.

After the fem qunari and fem turian I suddenly stopped regarding bioware as something special
oh I guess that happened even earlier
so they get the usual treatment - I will wait a few months, see the reviews, maybe get if afterwards

You need to look at it from all the angles, Ray & Greg have left im sure due to no small part from the fan backlash with ME3. If your concerned about Bioware delivering consider this, EA have just discovered that losing face as a company does not push profits up. I think they will be very careful in the future pressuring Bioware to push out a game thats not ready.

I will not be pre ordering Inquisition unless bioware launch a decent campaign  like they did with origins. Or like 343 & Halo 4 webseries. When I pay 80 bucks for a game i expect the full experience.

All the best Bioware.

No offense tacobelldog, but EA has been running studios and franchises into the ground for a long time.
They have been abusing the Bioware brand name and their exceptional customer loyalty by selling rushed, unfinished games and then gouging you with DLC to get the fulll-game experience.
The only thing they (EA) care about is maximizing profits, even if they kill a franchise or studio in the process.
They can always buy another and repeat the process.

And every game you have registered has been published under EA long after they got that reputations. So you are part of the same problem you are crying about.

Put your money where your mouth is or take a bite out that **** sandwhich and shut up.

I am putting my money where my mouth is, that's why I am not pre-ordering DA3.
Go back under your bridge.

Seeing how there's currently very little information available about either ME-Next and DA3 I have no plans to pre-order either of them. This might change depending on what I see closer to release, but not likely. I'll most likely wait for the next ME title and DA3 to hit the bargain bins before I pick them up. That way if they're any good I could still get them and the pre-order DLC for less than the game will sell for at launch.

I pre-ordered DA:O, ME1-3 and DA2. I also bought all the DLC for ME1 & 2, DA:O and it's expansion. To date I have not bought a single piece of DLC for DA2 or ME3, even though I have Bioware points available on my account to do that. That should give a clear indication of my disappointment, and the reason for my reluctance to get burned again.

when they first announced DAII, they said they were going in a slightly different direction with it. I was apprehensive about that. i had seen video and photos of DAII and didnt care much for it...but I preordered it anyways....cuz BW had yet to let me down.

then i played the demo. Disappointed...but a demo is a demo...not the final version.

then i got the game. Disappointed. Very Disappointed.

but i STILL consider it a ISOLATED INCIDENT.

BW has done way more good....and it will take a lot to outweigh that.

SO I WILL PREORDER DAIII

Will probably wait and see what sort of feedback it gets.

Don't really know enough about the game at this point. I don't have much faith though, hope I am proven wrong

This will be the first game I pre-order. Really looking forward to it.

I love DAO and I thought DA2 was still a great game compared to some I have played.

I have DA2 here ready to play, and have just been looking at the DLC content list.

I almost spit out my coffee when seeing 30 or so items, having to register on facebook, buy things from shop's, preorder game from certian retailers, register for newsletters and so on.

As someone who waited a year or so to buy DA2, alot of this stuff even tho wasnt listed as time limited is no logner available eg. registering for th epenny arcade item fails.

My experience of RPG bonuses are that they normally powerful items so basically to play the game without all the preorder bonus's is like having an arm chopped off.  I know DA Origins supposedbly had this problem but from waht I can see the ultimate edition gives almost everything and only 3-4 items were truly exclusive, DA2 took it to a complete new level with dozens of items exclusive.  I have never seen so much exclusive content in a game.

Why is this relevant to DA3.

Well I will put it this way.

DA:O I liked, played it many times.  The DLC content was a big part of the game.

DA2 having looked at the list, seeing the signature edition although available is extremely expensive and knowing that many items I cant get regardless of what I would pay, I have to say this issue is big enough that I probably now wont play the game.

Meaning DA3, its either me going to be preordering, putting tons of faith in the game been good, as preordering is damn expensive and also a pain that I Cant order the game at my own leisure, or skip it.  I dont think bioware have learned so I expect DA3 will have a ton of exclusive bits of the game.

I think DLC is bad enough but as long as its all always available its not the end of the world, its when its time limited exclusive that gets my bat, buy this game now or we wont give you all the game.

I'll be preordering the new Dragon Age game, and that's because it has been in the works ever since DA2 came out. And from the many forums and fan sites, Bioware should have enough support from dedicated fans to make the Dragon Age 3 game substansiously better than the first two, with the fighting mechanics of DA2 and the sort of character depth of DAO.

So yes all and all I will pre-order DA3.

I followed the cycle behind DA 2 (however brief it was) and ME 3. I'll follow DA 3, but my hope are somewhat dimenished. I have enjoyed Bioware games since Baldur's Gate 1 came out on release day, but the depth of play and quality of content as well as the shameless endless plugging of DLC content has pretty much burned my expectactions after the last couple of titles. I got the collector's edition for ME 2 and DA:O but I wouldn't touch DA 2 with a ten foot pole. It's not about being spoiled, jaded, or any of that bunk. It's about Bioware putting out a superior product beforehand, and then inferior ones afterward. Bioware still has talent, hopefully they'll suprise us all.

The only big problem i had with the game was the lack of locations. But it does a lot of things better than its predecessor. By the end of the game i had formed an emotional attachment to Fem Hawke and cared about this woman more than i imagined i ever would. If Hawke was to be the bonus companion then you can have my money now. But the only time i have ever pre-ordered a game was the Mass Effect 3 CE from GAME and due to that companies financial problems, I was disappointed to turn up and be given a refund on my deposit on the day of release. So i would pre-order if there is something really special on offer. But other that i will pick it up when it hits the shelves.

I dont think I will ever buy another BioWare game with out going to see/read a revew on it again. Not a revew where the company is getting "payed" with add dollars but people I trust and have the same likes and dislikes in a RPG. That being said, if it looks good and the people I trust say it will be a good game, then I would more then willing give BioWare one, more, chance and Pre-Order the game, however from what I have been told and what I have read it will proably not be a game I would pre-order from EaWare.

If they are trying to make a game like skyrim (with skyrim michanics and game play) but with a DA story then I will proably NOT get the game. I want a ROLE PLAYING GAME, not an Action adventure game witch is exactly what skyrim is. If I wanted to play a game like skyrim, then I would play skyrim.

This!

I can't imagine why anyone who has played DA2 would pre-order DA3. Like, really, explain your thought process to me, because I don't get it. It's like your lover slapping you in the face, so you go and fix them breakfast.

I mean, let's not forget what DA2 was:

1. Very limited choices, none of which influence the game's result.
2. Very limited customization.
3. About 5 dungeons that are rinsed and recycled.
4. Emo artwork.
5. Ninja enemies falling from the ceilings - even when there are no ceilings.
6. A world with 1 tiny city, half the size of the city in BG2 which was released a decade prior. Beyond that, there were a couple of caves. Woopidty doo.

And let's not forget what they did was Mass Effect 3, too. They are spitting in your face and telling you it's raining.

Pick yourself up and dust yourself off. Have some self respect. Don't pre-order anything from these clowns.
