Well it's not like him lvling that early will help really considering enemies scale.
Amusing find tho.
Actually they only scale within a certain levelrange and differently so in different zones... So uhm... It'd be way too easy most parts of the game after such a well spent *yawn* hour of gaming...

Lol, you people are hilarious. It's like I committed some kind of video game crime. Hurry call the nerd cops!
BAHAHAHAHA!
Frankly, I think that was an amusing lil' tip you posted. I do that sort of stuff all the flipping time if I can remember to. I typically don't remember, though; I'm too focused on some other aspect of my game to remember which glitches to find and exploit. I remember playing KotOR 1 as a dark side character; I found the glitch for infinite dark side points and went nuts.
"Dark side points gained."
"Dark side points gained."
"Dark side points gained."
"Dark side points gained."
"Dark side points gained."
Meh heh. That was fun.

I just wonder why i should do that, spoiling my own fun in a pure single player game. If something like this was possible in a game like WoW, it would be a much bigger topic.
P.S. (edit): I guess it's just some kind of ENCHANTMENT.

this thread is sweetness and light in comparison.
Guess most of us who've responded don't see the appeal in doing something so repetitive for 3 hours of gaming time. Sure, if it involved a hot babe and some whipped cream, maybe...
Yes because we all know people who spend a lot of time on video game forums constantly get the oppurtunity to spend time with hot babes

In ostagar when duncan sends you out to get the scrolls and darkspawn blood, go get the blood but not the scrolls. Return to duncan in ostagar and talk to him, say you have the blood but not the scrolls. This will bug and you can keep turning in that first half like that, it will give you exp. You don't need to go get more blood each time, just sit there spamming the accept and skip conversation buttons.

This thread definitely has some Rage on it... not sure about malice though...
hmm.. how much you think me adds to it?
GRRR... I rather do elven thing first and, after crafting some 600 potent lyrion pots, buy some 5000 elven roots... heh... it took my last char from 22 to 25 in a zap... not sure how many roots I bought over the necessary for that... but some 25,000 should make a level 6-7 go to 25 just as fast... lol
And now as I'm about to start The Final Onslaught, it says 1700 items crafted and 1800 gold spent!!!

3200 traps...You might as well stop the Blight with your traps
Or just try to meld them all together and watch the Trap-mass suddenly develop a mind and free will of its own.
Imagine, a trap creature. A trap golem or trap daemon, as it were.

The Ostagar glitch does the same thing in oh... 15 minutes. Tops. You can get your level 20 achievements, in under an hour.
I thought 1.02 had fixed that?

Good way to get the level 20 achievement for a class you don't enjoy. Wont make you enjoy the game any more... infact, since you can only get to 25 at the moment, it would take a lot of enjoyment away for me.
Well while I wouldn't be one to spend much time doing such a thing, if it is true that the mobs and drops in the rest of the game would scale with you anyway.
If what I have heard about autoscaling is true and assuming you had never been to that area before, then unless you are using modded gear you would be heading out at level 20 with grey iron facing almost everything in
the game at level 20 appropriate levels anyway.
Other than having your advanced skills available to you and a little added coin in your purse there should not be any huge advantage to spending hours on this grind.

According to some developer link I can't find easily (sorry), that's not how scaling works.
In addition to the level balancing when you enter an area for a first time, which you describe, monsters have a minimum and maximum level. The idea is that revenants or dragons will always be pretty dangerous on an absolute scale--even fatal to a low level party--while rats or even genlocks will never be "epic" levels.
So at level 20+, I think most everything should get a lot easier.

This can take a while, i did this process over and over and made 3200 traps in 3 hours. You could probably do it to level 50 for all i know but i got bored. When i left lothering to begin the game, I was at level 20 with 475 gold with my rouge. I don't recommend doing this on your first play though because it takes away from the leveling experience, but on the second or third play through it is awesome because you get to start where you left off after the first time except with a new character class and all the weapons are automatically tiered up. So you are getting all dragonbone stuff to start out with. And the enemies are all much more difficult. I just thought i would see if anybody else knows about this.
Thanks for this. I was looking for a in-universe way of making some gold early on so it's much appreciated.
