Um, the ending of Lost is fine... It's thematically rich and ends the narrative well enough. It's only seen as a disappointment to people who were more involved with the mysteries than the characters, and the show makes it pretty clear which of those two it's more focused on.
But don't you think the writers shouldn't introduce an bunch of mysteriers if they don't intend to explain them? As for the characters I thought having 7 of them get off the island only to return at one point kind of killed it for the ending.
The anime of Trinity Blade is another terrible ending. I never read the manga and the anime was basically just something I would kind of watch while being on my computer and waiting for Bleach to come on. After I saw it I was rather glad I didn't get into it because the last episode made the series pointless to watch.
