I hear the endings of those Game of Thrones books are pretty awful.

The series isn't finished. They do tend to end of cliffhangers, but there are still two more books coming. Who knows, maybe in twenty years we can find out how it all ends...

If hes still alive, but there endings flow with the tone of the books.

Personally, I thought Nier did the mind-bending grimdark well. Also thought the last possible ending you can get was hilariously great.

I must be the only one that thought losts ending wasn't all that bad, it was kind of ridiculous, but wasn't that bad.

Necron had some badass music though, but yeah despite IX being my favorite that boss battle was a complete WTF moment.

Final Fantasy VIII's ending was spectacular...ly ****ty.

Hell, it even came with it's own "insane fan theory", too.

The one with the gunblade guy? Why was that a bad ending? You mean the plot leadin up to it or the ending cinematic after the last boss?

This film: Remember Me

With the final setpiece of the film they didn't reveal the date or the location of his office until the last few minutes of the film, not only is it the biggest ass-pulls I've ever seen its also downright offensive and a slap in the face to all the real life relatives of the victims, how anything could top this as a worse ending is beyond me

Lost is the only ending that comes to mind. ME3' ending made senes on some level, even if it was campy and rushed.  Lost was a straight up "i dont know how to end my series or connect any of the ****ing dots i made for the last 6 year so everything was just a pre-heaven dream."

**** that. Wasted a lot of prime time nights, hoping that this show would blow my mind. Biggest blue balls ever.

The ending to Stargate Universe was pretty close to ME3 on the badness scale, because it had no ending, they just stopped making episodes. Talk about no closure, there wasn't any opening either.

True, but it wasn't their intended ending, they were canceled so had to quickly fix some ending in 1 episode.
