What are you talking about?
My enemies are defeated/controlled/transformed, the fate of the krogan, the quarian, and the geth is dependent upon my earlier actions, all the smaller choices happened and matter as much as they ever did..... ME3's got as much of that as KotOR 2 ; far more, actually.
But KotOR2 had enough of that stuff to work. The problem with KotOR2's ending is that I have no idea what my character's trying to do, or why, or why all these random things are happening around him.
They're defeated not by you, Reapers would've overwhelmed all your forces but thanks to Deus ex machina you "won". Try Rejecting Catalyst and see how you "defeat" Reapers.
Control is what one of your main antagonists wanted.
Synthesis is what Saren, again one of the main antagonists wanted, if choose that, what's the point of ME1?
How was your choice with rachni? Does it matter? With Collector Base? I'm not even talking about smaller decisions.
