Because during the last DLC the missile glitch was going on. Lots of people were able to blow through getting all of the new unlockable characters and gear. When the next DLC comes out that issue will not be there so it will add way more to the longevity of the content.
Of course there are other issues but I think we can live with a bunch of those issues. No game is perfect. NO GAME.
Bugs that have lingered for months and hardcore nerfs which have ruined weapons are making me tired of the game. And all those nasty little stealth buffs bioware keeps giving the AI - not to make them more intelligent but to blatently allow them to cheat.

I find your signature troubling. If you're making fun of people who have suicidal thoughts, go troll somewhere else. I've delt with fairly severe depression, especially lately, and your signature is decidedly not funny. There are many moments and entire stretches of days where it takes everything I having to simply keep living. Try doing that for years on end while everyone expects you to be a normal funcitioning member of society and then see if you have the stones to post a BS sig like that. If you really do understand that mentality, please consider that it can be extremely triggering for some people.

“I hate FBWGG”
“Why are ultra rare weapons so rare?”
“I hate when people do not play the way I want them to all the time”
“Geth are so hard on gold, why do they stun lock me so much. I should be able to run out of cover and just shoot them a couple times and they should die”
"I hate weapon nerfs. It exposes my poor skill when I cannot exploit a powerful weapon."

The MP lacks a long-term goal for players. Getting Ultra Rares is nice, but guess what? It's not sustainable. And the reason for that is because once you have maxed all the URs, what do you do then? There are no leaderboards (there IS one, but it's based on N7 rating which is completely meaningless) and nothing to gain from continuing to play.
Sure, I don't have all the URs (don't even have one maxed) and never will. All-in-all though, I had a fun time with it but I wouldn't categorize the MP as a success. It's much closer to a successful failure. Lack of a long-term vision will eventually kill the MP and that's really inexcusable. But it was a good effort and hopefully the team learned a lot (it seems like they did and didn't).

I have a friend who plays CoD daily. She goes in and finishes in the top two or three in a hard core kill confirm team death match. I'll play once a week. I'll finish with 2 - 25, mainly because I'm just catching up because we haven't talked and it's easier and cheaper this way and I'm not paying much attention to the game. But she knows all the new maps and I don't. And besides I hate that game. I owned her in Halo Reach MP.
Long term goals for multi-player? Rank? who cares? My MP rank in CoD? 6,000,000. lolz. In Halo Reach it was 1,900,000. lolz. I have other things to do in life besides become rank 1. Rank 1 in CoD means you have no life. So leaderboard? Go ahead and put one up. I don't care. I won't even look. They're a joke. Even among friends.
But all shooters are basically the same. That's why. I like that I was able to unlock all the classes. I have a lot to choose from. I can change classes during the evening. I don't care if I do great or not. Bear with my suckage. I'm not an elite player and I don't care about it. Yeah, I'll have the occasional game of over 50 kills. Put me in a gold game? I played FBWGG and got 20,000 pts..... 50 assists 10 headshots. I was playing a FQI. Guess what I was doing? Sabotage spam.

It seems like you are telling us that the reason we are getting bored is because of the missile glitch, and not asking us what makes the game boring, correct?
If that is the case then you are dead wrong. Since I play with only my friends I never experienced the missile glitch the same way everyone else did. I'm still unlocking new content from Earth (and Rebellion for that matter). The reasons I am getting bored with this game is because I am not unlocking things fast enough, the RNG store being a horrible idea, the glitches that never get fixed, the community, the lack of meaningful content, and weapons and characters being overnerfed into being near useless.

- I've unlocked everything but URs, which I only get maybe one of every 5hrs or so
- A lot of the good players have left for other games, leaving only the farmers who think they're good and the greenest of the green who think they can try Platinum with an Avenger VII equipped.

Because that's how you feel with any game after playing it constantly for a long time. I already got way more than my money's worth in terms of how much fun I've had with the game, so eh, stopping tomorrow because I'm burned out on it is no biggie.
Just to counter this, I played Super Smash Bros. Melee for seven years. And more recently, I still play Resident Evil 5 frequently, and it's over three years old.
Not that I expect that from every game. But I feel like I could play ME3's MP for at least a year if people would stop with the farming and start just playing the game. Using the same classes on the same maps over and over again is what kills the fun, for me.
