Dear Bioware,
I am a big fan of your video games.  Ever since knights of the old republic was released on the xbox, I have been buying all your products.  Each and every game has had great action/ gameplay with jaw-dropping plots twists/ stories.  These days, developers feel that stunning graphics are all it takes to make a successful video game.  It warms my heart to know that your company breaks that mold.  Bioware takes the time to craft video games that compile all forms of art into one medium; bringing music composition, graphic design, sound effects, writing, gameplay, and others seamlessly together.  It has been a privilege to enjoy your video games.

With this in mind, I must voice my disappointment with the old republic.  I understand the need to compete in the ever-changing market that currently seems to favor the MMO; but please stick to your guns.  What made your company famous was the compelling single-player campaign modes that always push the envelope.  Trying to cash in on the MMO market does sound lucrative, but not at the expense of losing your identity.

While I am morally opposed to MMO's, I have tested the old republic and found myself feeling cheated.  With all due respect, it felt very much like Wold of Warcraft with Star Wars elements.  While I commend the efforts to make a hybrid MMO and single-player campaign experience (with the addition of dialogue and story elements), it was too similar to other MMO games.  I do not wish to offend anyone at Bioware, but I feel like the old republic has become a failed investment.  Too much time/ money/ resources spent during development, makes it almost impossible to turn a profit at this point... with subscription numbers declining the outlook is bleak.

I do hope your company survives this loss and can then continue to create great single-player games.  I apologize if I have offended anyone within the company with the things I have said.  As a fan, I will continue to support the future Bioware endeavors.

Good luck in the future

Prepare to be shat on for saying ‘great single-player' games.

And there's no need to apologise for criticism.
