I'm not sure if this is the right place, but we've all notice the religious influences in Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2. Aside from that note, what if we took religious characters and made companions out of them? Who would be what? Some that I've come up with are:

Jesus as a Spirit Healer Mage with some other specs
Peter as a Warrior tank as a Templar
Judas as a rogue with dual weilding
Muhammed as a Warrior most likely Reaver/Beserker

These are a few of mine, anyone else have others? Feel free to add abilities and specilizations. Also, not intending to offen anyone in anyway.

I suspect so too but it's only a bit of fun so long as nobody gets offensive.

I'm not really religious to say that I am (and frankly, I don't know much about Biblical characters in themselves; it's not something that particually interested, despite the fact I do like learning about religions), so I can't really draw any comparisons from the top of my head, other than maybe The Morrigan (Irish war goddess) would maybe be something like a blood mage/arcane warrior/shapeshifter?
...Kinda makes me want to go spec Morrigan like that, ahaha. xD Even if she wasn't apparently named after the Triple Goddess.

I have to say, can anybody else see David of "David and Goliath" being a dwarf rogue archer with Bard/Ranger?
And Buddha in his own race and class comparable to Shale from DAO? But then this would be a lot like the companions from DA2

David would be two handed warrior with expertise in ranged weapons.
Elijah would be a mage able to summon fire down from Heaven.
The Three Wise Men would be mages.
Samson would have his own unique class: Badass.
Elisha would be a healer who can heal and resurrect people.
God would be God.
Jezebel would be a b*tch. (What, you mean that wasn't Morrigan's class?)
Ehud would be an assassin (he assassinated a king so it makes sense).
Elton John is dead would be a rogue with skill in archery.

Just imagine old man Dawkins and Hitchins sneaking into a Chantry with their white hair, sour faces and winkley skin, avoiding the Templars to go and replace the Chant of Light with their books but then they are caught by Samson and King David who chuck them out of the Chantry.
