Unbelievable... it guessed the spear guy from Samurai deeper Kyo.
Can you beat the Akinator?

Is your character a woman? Yes.
Is your character unshaved?
Ooookay.

I'm still fairly convinced it uses some kind of wireless mind reading, Mind 6 and upwards.
Seriously, there's no way it can narrow down some choices based on mostly generic and non-specific questions.

I thought for sure I had him with Marle (Chrono Trigger) but he got me with her.

Took a ton of questions, but got Boutros Boutros-Ghali on first guess. Impressive.

Hmm... He seems to lose with relatively close guesses but not right on. I got him again with Admiral Nimitz... Gave me General Jimmy Doolittle. Which is odd, because it asked if the character was in the Army and I said no... But then he got it after a second run.

Got him with Stig... Must admit I "cheated" abit. A lot of "I don't know's" and "Probably's". All I know is that he is called the Stig!

God damnit! I wasn't even being very specific and he still got Leonard Shelby from Memento right... (not even a "loss of memory"-question!)

Ha! Tried 3 times (and went on for three times) with retired Danish American football player, Morten Andersen (who holds the NFL record in points scored in the league so he is kinda famous), but he couldn't guess it! Kept suggesting polish icehockey players...

Nice. I was truthful with The Stig. I knew when the question, 'Does he always wear a helmet' came up he knew it.

Not bad, it got Luther Vandross although the questions were a bit generic.

This thing is amazing! It guessed the Nerevarine from Morrowind! That's about as open-ended a character as you can get.
Also guessed Mobius One from ace combat 04, a character that doesn't talk and is never actually seen.

Some of these have to be lucky guesses based on popularity counts / how well-known the character is to people in general. I thought of Scheherazade which was guessed correctly on the first try, but to be honest the questions/answers that came up could have easily applied to a whole range of characters since the only details that would really have given away Scheherazade's 'identity' were "Is your character of Arabic origin?" and "Is your character real?" Or maybe the Akinator does really read minds. o_O

I did Delinnara from Planescape: Torment
After 20 questions: He guessed Theresa from Fable 2, a game I've never played.
30 questions: He guessed Wynne. This is after I said the character was 'dead' and 'spoke to me.'
40 questions: He guessed Ravel Puzzlewell from PS:T. Still wrong.

Beat him with Admiral Natasi Daala, minor antagonist character from the Star Wars EU books. Strangely, the chap guessed Princess Leia, someone whose name I can't remember, and Mon Mothma in a row despite me having informed him that the character was a "bad person". Programming slipup? Hmm.

Pretty good. Stumped him until the third round on the cartoon cat Heathcliff (he guessed Bucky from Get Fuzzy, and Hobbes from Calvin & Hobbes first), but he got Nien Nunb, Snoopy, He-Man, and The Dude.
Fun game.
