HUD overlays?

Is there any way to do a simple hud overlay, sort of how they did the shape change or troop summoning? 

I don't need much really, just a couple of counters in the top right hand corner of the screen.

The HUDs you mentioned are done through SetPlotGUI, I believe. (I don't have the toolset available here, so I'm not certain.)

It's sort of a moot point now, but I was trying to figure out how to overlay additions to the TS_Category* tables as M2DA's. I tried various methods for getting this to work correctly, but I couldn't get it to work with a packaged .erf

Eventually I just abandoned the approach all together and went with a simplier, albiet less elegant, solution.

There is another thread around here detailing my various attempts at it :)
