Any volunteers?  Seriously, if asked to harass the Banshees to help the team get the objective, would you do it?  With what class and strategy?  Batarian Soldier walking backwards spamming Ballistic Blades.  Or maybe the N7 Paladin so I can dodge and use ED for barriers and replenish my shields and incinerate for her armor.

Dude, Decoys and Drones are made for this already. She'll just stare at them stupidly while you shoot her full of whatever future-bullets are made of.

Doesn't always work but true. And those things aren't always readily available.

Yep. Mostly through pew-pew-ahh-run-pew-pew. However it's hard to assign the job, since banshees 'lock on' to players and will not detour for anything (including decoys and drones) until said player puts enough distance between them. In which case, if you noticed you've been locked, kiting should become your job...

Well now that I think about it, a friend of mine swears Banshees go exclusively after him, Banshee Bait is his nickname. But what you all say is true.

For some reasons whenever I play with friends I am always the one being volunteered for banshee bait, and before I know it, two banshee had just teleported in front of me.

I'd say Paladin, because you're able to block the warp missiles, refill your shields, and do decent damage once the barriers are done. And because heroic, selfless things like that are what the Paladin does best.

I love being banshee bait, 80% of the time I can handle myself. Easier with Fury and fun too, using biotic teleport against them. lol

If you asked me, I would say yes.

Not true. Banshee's will switch targets if you just pump one clip from a Hurricane into them at close range. If there's one thing that pisses them off, it's that little buzzsaw...

Usally, I bait the Banshee, kitting is a good tactic.
But, I prefer fight unarmed against them, Krogan Battle Master FTW
The thing I hate is when I charge on an other enemy, far away, the banshee still use their one shot
kill, so a krogan go in the air, and died, blood include in this magic trick, and no enemy near me

I just did this.

Kroguard + stairs = two banshees out of the picture.

Wasn't planned, but I was getting tired of running around.

I love hit'n'running when I play infiltrator, the problem is that there's always someone else willing to run off to play the hero and I'm usually stuck at the hack/drone babysitting just to up the number of warm omnitools keeping the timer up.

The problem is that these requests or votes never come up. Hell, half the time people don't even know enough to let the duration infiltrator do the hack objectives.

Half the time? Try all the ****ing time. Then there's those who stand right on top of you, drawing all those fuzzy rockets...<_<

exactly this

a couple of days ago in a platinum match in glacier, i took my GE and did just this, i was going up and down the stairs getting healed by my turret while I spammed overload/weapon fire/Turret fire on the hunters that tried to nail me while 2 banshees tried in futility to kill me, all that while the rest of the team gunned everything else.

Banshees are a piece of cake in open wide maps and maps with long ramps, primes not so much.

ATLAS:

Strong points:
Dimensional seeker missile
AOE shots that can hit you in soft cover.
Quick hydraulic turn around.

Weakness
Slowwwww
Easy to avoid in big maps.
0 bull**** beyond the dimensional missile.
Their Smoke will mostly help you

Banshee:

Strong points:
psychological effect on some players (makes them crap their pants and make mistakes)
Bull**** wallhack (combined with insta dead move is a pain)
Flush the toilet and makes campers go ajar.
Fast on teleport mode

Weaknesses:
LOUD!!!!
RAMPS!!!
Easy to avoid attacks.
Easy to bait her into a wild goose chase.
Talk to the hand mode = a few seconds to unload weapons as she won't move much (glitch involving teleport mode and god hand mode active at the same time, you need a good weapon when that happens).

Geth Prime:

Strong points:
Geth Turret with a DPS higher than normal Geth troopers (apparently)
Stunlock triple shot (pretty much a ranged insta kill on some classes)
Stunlock map snipes (ATLAS wish to have that accuracy)
Stunlock elbow
Lowest HP boss unit is a lie as you lose DPS looking for the turret before the turret takes you down.
Seems to have the best detection of all boss type units
Apprentice of the Rocket Glitcher and their wall ignore shots

Weaknesses:

Takes the Decoy bait like a champ.
Seems to be unable to vault over cover
useless drone (if the drone was working they would be the hardest boss by far)

my favorite had to be distracting the banshee with a slayer jump in and teleport away.

Future Bullets are known to be made of "Space Magic."

Krogaurd. Find a inclined slope. She is now unable to instakill. Charge to keep your barriers up and smack her silly. Win.

Salarian Engineer, Infiltrator, or Paladin. Kite her backwards, don't kill her barrier, energy drain on warps that land. Drell can kite anything, too.

Ease of use is a Kroguard on steps, that's not really kiting though.  Since you are effectively soloing her.
