Last I checked, gay Catholics exist.

Last I checked, most of the pro gay people in my mainly Catholic country are... surprise... catholics.... like on Spain or Argentina... mainly Catholic countries with same sex marriage...

And of course, let's not bring the facts that other animal species also display homosexual behaviour... cause... you know... facts are pesky lil things, right?

Good for Steve. He's a good guy. Him and Traynor are the only personal my Shepard will keep when he takes the Normandy from the alliance.

I can see how people who went with the Steve romance would not see Steve as a "minor" character as I described him, but the problem is that Steve only becomes a significant character if you romance him. What are you talking about? His entire story is avaidable regardless of romance, you have to opt into the romance in the club, everything up to then had been his personal story. His development arc is about him moving on, in the club you can help him mobe on by being his lover or his friend/support. He is featured in a large majoirty of missions and is definatkey not a wallpaper character.

Well, it may seem that way to you, but unfortunately from a straight gamer's perspective the romance starts way before that, especially considering how "accidental romance" is known to happen in other Bioware games.  So the straight gamer doesn't go to the club with Steve, doesn't offer a shoulder for him to cry on, or any of that.  It's basically, "Oh your husband died?  That sucks bro.  So how's my shuttle?"

I agree he does have a line or two on some of the missions, so maybe that makes him a little more relevant than Gabby and Kenneth, but not much.

But straight gamers help steve aswell, being a kind supporting person has non connection to sexuality, if you choose not to follow a characters story arc then it's you problem, but to consider yourself the mouthpiece for all straight gamers is idiotic
