I give 0 ****s about Cortez even though he's probably about the single most depressing character in Mass Effect if you romance him.
His husband dies, so he meets a man he can romance and be in love with, with the possibility of moving on, that man dies in the end. All in like a 6 month time period.

It has NOTHING to do with the fact he's gay. I just really don't like him. I didn't see the need to cram a pilot into the end of the triology and try to make him one of the most important characters.

Actually that probably is BECAUSE he's gay. I don't dislike him because he's gay, but he's rammed down my throat because he's gay. It's political correctness crap. Video games are my escape from this kinda thing.
