It seems that those who espoused the Ultimate Sacrifice and preached that bioware shouldn't have anything to do with the Warden, Morrigan or OGB in future games,....are jealous of those that did the Dark Ritual and may now receive resolution in game content?
Jealous? Interesting perspective. As if your choices in your game were the right ones....................... What I would like is to have the same amount of content as everyone else, a different resolution or a different path. And you need only common sense to trust Bioware to do just that, as to not alienate part of their audience with a diminished-content game.
I didn't say that the Dark Ritual was the right choice, just the choice that led to extra content in regards to your warden still being alive, has an Old God Baby and is available to interact in the world of Thedas. You chose death. Dead is Dead. Why should you be upset if you have to settle for less content due to your player's choice? What happened to Player's Agency and expecting Bioware to respect your decision that your Warden didn't have an Old God Baby and is no longer in the world of Thedas?
You could always play that content if you do the Dark Ritual and import that through the other games. It's not like your locked out unless you do multiplayer.
But oh no, now we got people wanting ghost Wardens!!
You still don't get it. I don't want my warden to come back. He's dead, due to an incredible sacrifice; Alistair did an awesome eulogy and that's that. I do have another character (elf mage), that went through Awakening and Witch Hunt, as most people who chose the sacrifice probably also have, but he obviously has nothing to do with the OGB.
What I am expecting to happen, due to player agency and due to DA3 being a new game, is for content to be created, for those who have chosen the sacrifice, to replace what others will go through with the OGB.
Unless Bioware is willing to charge me 40€ and charge you 60€ for DA3, they won't leave anyone hanging, I'd wager, since David Gaider has stated that the OGB part won't just be a footnote. That probably equates to a few hours of gameplay. Think out of only the lore's realm.
