According to other posts here, your unselected party members are supposed to gain experience along with your selected characters.  This isn't working for me and now Sten and my dog are both level 7, while my other characters are level 9.  Is there a fix for this?

Have you put them in your party and gone exploring? You won't be given the level up option until you move out of the party camp area.

I'm bumping this. Basically the problem is that if I don't have companions in my party, they don't seem to level. Anyone know what to do?

No, sadly i dont. I have had no problem with the people i leave at the camp. Once and awhile when i go back, i go through there stats to update them from there lvl ups and im good. It very odd if yours isnt doing that hm

if you have them in your party with you they should level up easier than you do

I would leave Sten in camp he is useless and a **** lol...
