I just finished a firebase Dagger, Geth, Gold, was bottom of the score board with 33k, top had 105k but was using GI. I was using Paladin with arc pistol and Piranha, i constantly was reviving the two others in the game and was most of the time only one doing objectives. on the nonobjective waves i consistantly was taking fire from the primes, hunters and rocket troopers while allowing the others to get behind them. Yet at the end of the match the GI has the nerve to plug him mic in and tell me to get lost as he didnt want to carry my lazy backside any more. 

Can someone please tell me how i was just carried?

I rarely play infiltrator and when I do I'm at the bottom of the list...

But often with the 15 revive medal...

The term 'carry' is one of the most over used terms in this whole gaming realm. I wouldn't worry about it. There are plenty of very good players capable of carrying a match but there are also a lot of delusional people that high score = carry.

He outscored you, simply because he could kill faster or finish enemies faster than you. If you were intentionally acting as support instead of artillery, that's normal. You weren't carried.

Also, Geth Infiltrators and Furies (played by competent players of course) are hard to outscore.

But yeah, ignore the idiots.

People often get too fixated on the scoreboard, now there have been a few times iv outstripped the rest of my team by double the score and triple the number of medals. THATS not carrying, thats soloing with three people bouncing around with pom poms cheering me on.

Dude, I'd rather take a team player like you over a jerk like him. Usually most people can eventually do gold if given enough time (eg engineers are "slower" killers than vanguards but that doesn't mean the engineer cannot hold his or her own) and it is just a first come first serve basis.

Trust me, when the important credit waves come around and you get swarmed or need cover fire, support teammates are infinitely better than the score obsessed people.

Just ignore the GI and look for another lobby. That said, for Gold, you should try to get at least 50K.

A person loses a LOT of kill points if they are doing objectives by themselves. You can essentially lose two waves worth of points if you are running around going the objectives while others go on their killing ways.

actually the way he explained it, he played defensively, its not all too common for me either to have a score around 30-40K on gold with paladin when i play defensively, yet people thank me left and right and give different kinds of blessings for the freeze shield.

Kill the frozen mooks with a shield bash, conserves ammo, raises your score (melee medals).

This. The GI is a killing machine so generally they will score the highest. But as Nissun wrote, you were mainly playing support, so your score is going to be low. This doesn't mean you were carried.

A Paladin with the Piranha should be killing a lot (not as much as a GI of course.) Not that scores tell the whole story, but 33k is kind of low in general for Gold with that setup.

33k with a Paladin VS Geth is even worse. Sorry. Paladin with Piranha is a beast. 100k guaranteed.
