Fangirl/boy First World Problems.
Not sure picking between the two would qualify as a dilemma, but what a sweet torment it would be indeed!

Oh the agony of having to choose between the two. Worth it!
Although, I'd be happy if we got at least one of them in DA3.

Very shallow reply that ignores the personality of the characters: If Cullen looks as good as he does in DA2, then Cullen all the way.
He does look ridiculously hot in DA2...

Oh and the voice, the voice suits him...sorry DAA Anders.
Yeah, Cullen has seen the worst of both sides and not only would that make his opinions hold weight as a companion, it would also make him interesting to romance in a variety of ways.

Or if he gets even hotter still.... no i don't think i could handle that.
It'd be cool to see a disgraced Cullen, cast out of the templars for letting the champion go/turning against Meredith/generally going soft on mages. (as long as he doesn't end up Alistair level whiny drunk)

Agree that this would be an interesting scenario for him. For a character so defined by duty, Cullen may just be lost without it. And who better to help him find his way, than me... erm, I mean, us... all of us!

That said, there's someone for everyone LI, just like no matter how many LI's they make, someone will not be happy with the selection.

I can see a devout protagonist getting along with Cullen easily, but I think a sarcastic or aggressive protagonist can eventually crack his shell and show him that there are other ways to approach the world without necessarily abandoning his values (though that could also be an option).
I can see how Nathaniel might be shown different paths as well by a protagonist. The right woman (or guy I suppose) could come along and help him let go of his rage or show him how to focus his anger.
I could never understand women and their desire to change guys.
Shouldn't you love people for who they are?
Why bother with him if he's not to your liking anyway? Plenty of fish in the sea.

LOL, this sums up how I feel.
(Though I know between the two I'm gonna pick Cullen for sure, but STILL! the option to have Nathaniel would be nice)

I would literally sit in front of the CC screen for hours trying to decide if I should create a PC for Cullen or for Nathaniel. THE AGONY OF HAVING TO MAKE A FIRST PLAYTHROUGH DECISION.
