Does anyone here know if the architect's completely immune to mana clash?

I was messing around to see how much of the architect's HP I can whittle down with my blood mage with a single mana clash, but it seems he's immune. Well, may be because he's an elite boss, right?, otherwise the encounter will be trivial. But then the Lost and Gaxkang in Origins went down with one single buffed mana clash.

Some "caster" bosses are immune to it, I think they don't actually have mana - they either cast spells with stamina or their spells have no cost and they have no resource. Most can be hit by mana clash though. The mother, for instance, is also immune to it (she can cast spells, but apparently doesn't actually have mana), while the lost can be 1 shot with mana clash.
