Wow DA3 sounds completely terrible in my opinion, no more blights, no more grey wardens, they shouldn't call DA 2/3 dragon age games, they seem completely new ips to me. Wow after readin that i KNOW bioware are finished, Bioware YOU ARE DEAD. A once great developer, now a running joke.

While reading the part about being an Inquisitor, I got a strong ME3 vibe (gather your forces!). Granted, DAO did something similar, but it was more fun in DAO, and there is no multiplayer to put up with.

Definitely going to wait this one out and see how the community reacts to it once released.

Dragon Age isn't about Blights or Grey Wardens. It's about Thedas.

DA II may not have met everybody's expectations, but that doesn't mean every installment in the series should follow the same blueprint.

I didn't say it did, but having ZERO to do with grey wardens, and not much to do with darkspawn, and retconning the darkspawn/ qunari, and changing the graphics style COMPLETELY, and changing the combat and a number of other ''improvements'' DA2 looks and feels NOTHING like DA:O. Bioware in STEEP DECLINE.

Multiplayer, eh?
Oh, EA, you and your shenanigans.

That said, I was avid in my disdain for MP in ME3 back when it was being developed, and now the only reason I didn't turn in my ME3 copy was because multiplayer is so damn fun that it evens out the terrible, awful, stupid endings.

The plot itself sounds at least interesting and I really am curious how the political intrigue will play out like, I don't care that the Grey Wardens and Darkspawn aren't the center of it, it was stated several, several times that Dragon Age is about Thedas, and I, for one, am all for it.

Still, after the ME3 debacle, I'll wait for peer reviews before even considering a purchase.

I am glad subsequent games aren't about grey wardens or blights. Those are very specific things that have only occasional relevance to events in Thedas. It was a good topic for one game. Now Bioware needs to explore and expound upon other more important issues.

I love the direction of this game series. Couldn't be happier.

Wow Bioware have really hit their niche with you lot haven't they, you peoples tastes in games are terrible, DA2 was a disgrace to gaming. The story was terrible and pathetically put together, combat ridiculous flashy bang bollox, The graphics were terrible the art style was like anime. It was just terrible, Bioware in steep decline and aiming for easy to please casual bi0dr0n3s. You lot would buy anything Bioware tell you to wouldn't you. Wow.

I find it unappealing on paper, but I haven´t seen anything that would indicate terrible.

Wonder who these selected and "unbiased" members could be. If they are the same bunch that praised DA 2 over the heavens, then maybe terrible is written in the stars.

I'm glad they didn't try to retread old waters and go back with another Blight or a Warden since that was covered in Origins.

Well, first off the article starts by saying none of this is official and it could all be nonsense. Now, the information given does sound interesting. Not sure how well playing as a Chantry Inquisitor would go over with people, given how few side with the Templars and Chantry. I guess that will depend on how it's done. This could be interesting. However, given the ending of ME3 and how DA2 was clearly a rushed game (pretty decent, but still obviously rushed) I'll wait until after DA3 has been out a while and hear other people's thoughts on the game. (Despite that, I'm sure the rest of my post will make me a "bi0dr0n3" in tez19's eyes since I didn't immediately say it sounds awful and horrible and that DA2 was a sh!t game)

Not waiting for MP. And Bioware can't be trusted that SP does not need MP, ME3 proved that. It is just recently that it doesn't matter with the update.

Being an inquisitor is also not my idea of an avatar I want to play. The real inquisition brought forth the dark ages nothing to be longing for.

So no, it sounds grim to say the least. But that is not to say the game can't be good for that is wait and see. It just does not sound my forté thats all. If this will be confirmed I will refrain and wait for the reviews by other players.

Do you people go on any sites apart from BSN? EVERY and i mean EVERY gaming news site i have been on, whenever there is news on Bioware, there are so many haters, Bioware must be one of the most hated developers out there. All the news sites with this particular DA3 info has got terribly negative reaction. I imagine on here every loves bioware and eats anything they spoon feed you, but in the gaming community at large, Bioware are a laughing stock and a hate figure, DA3 will fail, HARD!

Your OP complained about the story:  "No more blights, no more grey wardens, they shouldn't call DA 2/3 dragon age games, they seem completely new ips to me."  I have no problem with DA's story, as I stated.

Above, however, you expand your criticism to shoddy quality, ridiculous combat, and anime art style.  I would agree that DA2 had problems from being rushed, had cartoon-like combat animation that I disliked, and tended toward an anime-like art style.  I would like those items remedied, but they didn't destroy the storyline or the general gameplay.

Unlike you, I can offer criticism without condemning the entire enterprise.  And I don't think you mean to do that either.  If you really thought what you posted, why would you even come here and post on this forum?

BTW, I boycotted DA2 until I was able to buy it for about $7 two months ago.  After playing the whole thing, I was sorry I'd refused to try it sooner.  It really is a good game; just not as good as DAO.

Give them the benefit of the doubt, since it's gonna be a while before this one hits. And nothing says that the Wardens might not appear in some form - blight or not.

Actually Bioware have a bit of a bad rep with a lot of people in here too. Regardless, we don't know if that leak is even 100% legit yet so there's no point in wasting your time and energy getting worked up over something that could easily turn out to be a fake.

No more blights because a blight only happens once in many centuries, what you want another one just cuz? That's not very respectful to the lore.

And how much do you want to bet on there not being any Grey Wardens in DA3?
