It's going to take some pretty freaking amazing demos and word of mouth to make me come back to any future Dragon Age (or BioWare) games at this point.

No party and no pause and play combat.
Story that focus on Wardens/Darkspawn/Blight.
Fixed protagonist with fixed class.

Getting rid of the party and just having a main character and one hireling/mercenary with limited interaction. That's what NWN OC was to me, and I didn't like it nearly as much as I did BG and BGII. I'm so glad Dragon Age: Origins was what it was.

If it has MP it will be **** and there is no point in buying it.

Same if I'm stuck wandering around the same city all game long again...
Or if they bring that snivelling weasel Anders back to go on and on again about how tragic his plight is...again

1) If I couldn't choose my gender
2) If the camera was used in the style of NWN. I couldn't play the game because I had a hard time seeing anything at all
...Actually, I'd probably pre-order it anyway. I don't think I've ever not enjoyed a Bioware game. They might have gotten me to the point of severe depression, psychological breakdown and furious rage, but that just means I was emotionally invested.

- Voiced PC
- Dialogue wheel
- Predefined human role
- DA2 style combat
- DA2 style story/narrative
- DA2 style companion interaction(never knew when to talk to them, and you had to go and find their house. I liked DA:O's party camp)
- Focuses on only one city(why they EVER thought that was a good idea, I will never know, all of the cities in DA:O got enough attention to build up their own personality and story)
- Using the same environment over and over more than five times

Well, at least you won't have to spend any money.

-No subtitle
-Inability to skip DAII in the way of save-importing
-Lack of proper choice and consequence
-Retconning of past decisions
-No masked ball scenario in Orlais
Oh, and multiplayer, of course, even though we all already know that is going to be in.

So far I'm not impressed with what I hear.

-Not being able to play anything other than a human.
-Forced political or religious affiliations.
-Bad voice acting.
-Same VA for the protagonist as the VA for a character like Vaughn, (I'm looking at you MaleHawke).
-Voice acting that automatically defines the character, (like FemShep's tough voice. FemHawke was good though)
-Lack of an origin story, or a bad origin story.

At this point in the franchise, I don't think I'll not mbe able to get it. I love Thedas and I need to know what happens about it and just watching Let's Plays on Youtube won't cut it since almost every Let's Player chooses the wrong dialogue options. (For me). In my case, it's just a matter of whether I'll be playing the game again or buying DLC.

I am, as you, very fascinated by the world of Thedas and want to learn more about it and experience a story in its setting. I can recommend that you do what i did with DA2 and that was reading the best rated fanfiction(s) that follows the story. That's what i will do with the third one if there is no multiple races or not being able to see the full sentence when choosing dialogue.

If it's gay. seriously DA:O was sick, DA2 was gay, I pre-ordered it thinking I was going to get "Dragon age 2" instead I got "Gay ass game" I'm renting it this time regardless of preorder "bonuses" i didnt get any da2 dlc because i couldnt get a single play through with it remembering that zev was dead. I even replayed origins, awakening and witch hunt and reimported just to make sure. <_< so the dealbreaker would be EA rushing it and BioWare not actually putting effort into the game. so far it hasnt been announced which is good. I'd like 2+ years of dev time tbh so they can make sure it looks great, plays great, and tells a fantastic story.
Reported for language and your derogatory use of the word gay. Perhaps a moderator can assist you in tuning your vocabulary to a more productive manner that is not insulting to others on a public forum.

About the only thing I could think of that would be a 'dealbreaker' to me would be a 100% forced protaganist (i.e. Geralt) But doesnt sound like they're going that way, so nothing I'll fret about.
This sums u whiy there is no "deal breakers" for me.
Last 2 games i've played are Oblivion and Witcher 2, a million miles apart in style and nature of protagonist and I loved both.
I literally don't care what kind of game Da3 is, just as long as whatever style of game it is, Bioware take the time to do it justice.
Seriously, take 10 years to make it if you need to, just give me quality not re-used enviroments and psychic delivery boy quests.
