Can I copy a save state from my friend's PS3 and load it using a fresh install of the game on my own PS3?
I tried doing this with his ME2 save state without luck. My old PS3 was YLOD'd and I lost all my game data. I just want to start ME3 with similar decisions I made in ME2.

Thank you for replying, Battlepope! My experience has been consistent with your reply. Is the belief that save states only work with the PS3 they originated on? I suspect this, but I would love to confirm it in case there's something else I'm missing.

unfortunately battle pope is correct, sony dropped the ball so any save data that was on youre original ps3 or a friends ps3, is copy right locked onto that ps3 system, and you cant swap hardrives either their locked into the ps3 system aswell
