Whenever i boot up Mass Effect 3 on my PC it comes up with 'Connecting to EA server' (or something similar) and it has been fine with dconnecting up until recently. Now i  have to wait about 3-4 minutes and then it comes up with 'Unable to connect to Mass Effect 3 server, please try again later' (or something similar). Over the past week i have tried numerous times and it just won't work.

All my other games have been fine with multiplayer lately but Mass Effect 3 seems to be the only game that won't properly connect. I am not really a Tech guy so i am un-familiar with technical stuff. I have all the Multiplayer DLC's installed aswell as the Extended Cut DLC installed, i do not have from ashes or that weapons pack. I have performed 3 Repair Installs and checked for updates on the game and even all the DLCs. Please someone help because i just want to get back into the multiplayer, singleplayer is working fine. Thank you to anyone who can help!

Thanks,
Matt

Then it lists the 3 multiplayer DLC's i got and the Extended cut DLC. PLEASE HELP!

EA servers are down for maintenance.
However, it used to be possible to just play in offline modus, not anymore I guess.

Cool, ain't it ?

I tested it, you can play in offine mode. Connect to origin, put it in offline mode, then remove your LAN cable and then run ME3. You will be able to play.

Tested also :(

First origin offline, then pulled the cable (can barely see it in screenie) left connection, the other two are VMWARE connections.

And here's the result.

Steal when I read up it said the server was down, so it must have somehow affected the verification of the DLCs. I'm glad that the problem will be fixed soon though.

Weird removing the cable works for me.

It could be because I tried to launch before I knew the servers went offline.
So everything was just online at that time.

Perhaps it couldn't verify it then, I checked and noticed the servers were offline and after that tried what I always did. Maybe if you try to connect when everything is online (origin, connection) and servers are down so it can't connect, it alters your game or origin files so that every next time you try to play it will ask for verification. Even when you try to do so offline.

Ah well, I'll just wait till servers are up.

Thanks for your help though, much appreciated.

Well, I thought it was the only logical choice :)

Aw, well what I tried to explain above, you said it ine one sentence, gotta work on my English :)

Still I think it's a bit lame that you need verification every single time. Do they actually think I'm gonna sell the whole game (digitally purchase, I don't know if that's even possible, unless I sell my account) Then pirate the game and all DLC so I can continue playing ?

Pffft yea right.

Agree, but I bought it in retail :P what's worse in Mass Effect 3 multiplayer is when you are in the last 20 seconds of a Silver Match and Internet cuts out or something... I'm just sick of that, why can't the servers keep you in for like 1 second, but no as soon as the server/Internet cuts out for as little as a second, you are kicked out...

This forum is, unfortunately, only for player-to-player help. If you want EA/Bioware to have a look, please submit a ticket to help.ea.com.
